Grade School? Doh! One of my metal friends from back in the day was from NY and talked about them all the time.

I watched the Twisted Sister documentary by way of Netflix recently. It is really long. I was bit surprised that it was mainly about their time before they made it big. It actually stops right at the release of You Can't Stop Rock and Roll.

Angus says Lisbon here we come. . .

Coachella plans massive classic rock concert
Analogman replied to Hixter's topic in Someone Else's Song
That would be interesting. -
Besides the documentary that Bill and Ted guy is doing - there is another one out this year also. I think it is called Eat That Question.

I find it creepy when people refer to their parents by their first names. Of course those Zappa kids had a pretty weird upbringing.

Factoid for today - Neil sent that song to Ronnie and supposedly they were going to do it on the next Lynyrd Skynyrd album.

I am listening now. I don't think I care for the music I am hearing. I guess because it is so different. -

I seem to recall reading that when he did those Wall shows there was a lot of lip-syncing going on. I wonder if that is true. -

I bought it - but I doubt I will play it more than once or twice. We'll see. -

Or Neil Young - -
I just read he played Down By The River for over a half hour the other night in Memphis. That would be something to see.

They should have got Santana. Carlos is currently playing shows with some of the old guys. That would work well there. -

I don't see how Dylan is going to go over at that festival. Those other bands are pretty much high energy. And he is certainly not. -

This festival must be happening: -
He is also releasing Human Highway on dvd this summer. Which is a totally weird film.

I wonder what the people at the record company think when he turns this stuff in:

Doctor Who: New Companion (teaser trailer) I hope Pearl Mackie will bring some new energy to the show. I didn't much care for the last season. -
Amazon now has all the episodes of Whitechapel. I got to see the 4th series finally. I hope they do at least one more series.

According to Dave Marsh - the story was they spent more time hanging out than recording. And supposedly Keith's drum work was done in a couple of days towards the end of the sessions. I like the song Love is Coming Down. Or maybe I should say I like the way Roger sings it. And Had Enough is one of the few times Roger was the lead singer on a song John wrote.

It's not all that much thought of outside of the song Who Are You. There was a time when they played Sister Disco in live shows.
 -
I'm back on my quest to watch all the available episodes. Dr. Who - Attack of the Cybermen (Season 22 -1985)
 -
That is correct. Supposedly - Tipper overheard one of her daughters listening to Darling Nikki and flipped out. I see people are posting Prince songs on YT now. I wonder if whoever controls his estate will leave them be, or take the songs down.

Did you see Purple Rain at the movie theater? It was quite something to see that on the big screen.
