  1. Not till about 10 years ago. I live in the past - you know.
  2. I buy stuff becasue it moves me, not becasue some dude says it's the greatist thing since Elvis was Jesus.
  3. I still don't comprehend buying something because of reviews or how many stars or numbers it gets.
  4. It may be shit to you - but for normal americans, it was the shit! Plus, Pat Benatar has better makeup than that cretin from The Cure. Seriously, outside of U2/The Police and some metal bands, I never listened to 80s music.
  5. I think she was ready to run away with me until she noticed I looked like Jon Fishman.
  6. I don't much care for anything after HTH and TTGG. But - that's just me - I like what I like.
  7. I just recently started listening to Love. I think I recall reading that he was not doing well - that's why the tribute shows were being held.
  8. Just the good ones before Mark left.
  9. Oh really. I mean all of the official studio albums of course.
  10. I'm sure glad you can't burn my flag.
  11. There also use to be: Night Tracks (TBS), Friday Night Videos (ABC), and Video Jukebox (HBO).
  12. Harp is going that way too - half page ineterviews. I am not buying it anymore.

  14. I gave up on getting any more EC albums a while back - not that crazy about him, actually. But I have went through this with The Who - Live at Leeds, Tommy, and Who's Next have now gotten the deluxe treatment twice . And the same thing is now going on with the first three Santana albums.
  15. Universal Music Enterprises has acquired 11 albums from Elvis Costello's early catalog, with plans to re-release the artist's material via reissues, deluxe editions, compilations and box sets. The albums acquired begin with Costello's 1977 debut, "My Aim Is True," and continue through "This Year's Model" (1978), "Armed Forces" (1979), "Get Happy!!" (1980), "Almost Blue" (1981), "Trust" (1981), "Imperial Bedroom" (1982), "Punch the Clock" (1983), "Goodbye Cruel World" (1986), "King of America" (1986) and "Blood and Chocolate" (1986). Although these albums have already been reissued in expa
  16. It use to be that bands would redo songs when they went from say an indie release - to a major label release. I think Blue Earth was never ment to be an album - but was rather a collection of demos that was spruced up. I would think that when songs were picked for HTH - it was viewed as one of the better ones among the old demos - I may not have the story right - I am sure someone on here knows the scoop.
  17. The movie use to be up on Google Video - I don't think it is anymore. I am sure it is out there to be had somewhere. I have seen it many times - the public library here where I live has it on VHS. This was considered there first failure in a way - and was really the start of Paul trying to take over. Magical Mystery Tour was his idea - his rip-off of Ken Kesey and The Merry Pranksters bit, really. How is it that everyone does not own all The Beatle albums already?
  18. Today, I saw Rush, one of those idiots from The Barenaked Ladies, and that dude with the pop bottle glasses from The Trailer Park Boys play Closer To The Heart.
