Oh, how is it that I could come out to you,
And be still floatin',
And never hit bottom but keep falling through,
Just relaxed and paying attention?
All my two-dimensional boundaries were gone,
I had lost to them badly,
I saw that world crumble and thought I was dead,
But I found my senses still working.
And as I continued to drop through the hole,
I found all surrounding,
To show me that joy innocently is,
Just be quiet and feel it around you.
And I opened my heart to the whole universe,
And I found it was loving,
And I saw the great blunder my teachers had made,
Scientific delirium madness.
I will keep falling as long as I live,
Ah, without ending,
And I will remember the place that is now,
That has ended before the beginning ...
Oh, how is it that I could come out to you,
And be still floatin',
And never hit bottom but keep falling through,
Just relaxed and paying attention?

Laurel Canyon : The Inside Story of Rock-and-Roll's Legendary Neighborhood
by Michael Walker

The greatest hits CD that came out is from 94 to 2001. The only song i'd not heard on it was "El Paso" which is a heck of a song!
That is the Marty Robbins song El Paso I take it.

Yes, I'm finally reading this:

I have a 13th Floor Elevators 45.

She knows me
She knows me
Sometimes I have a weird way of showing my love
And I always expect her to know what I'm thinking of
She knows me
I treat her so mean I don't deserve what I have
And I think that she'll forgive just by making her laugh
But she knows me
She knows me too well
Knows me so well
That she can tell
I really love her
She knows me too well
I get so jealous of the other guy
And then I'm not happy til I make her break down and cry
When I look at other girls it must kill her inside
But it'd be another story if she looked at the guys
But she knows me
She knows me too well
Knows me so well
That she can tell
I really love her
She knows me too well
She knows me
She knows me
When I look at other girls it must kill her inside
But it'd be another story if she looked at the guys
Cause she knows me
Knows me so well
That she can tell
I really love her
She knows me too well

probably not hard but my situation is i have all my music on my computer at work but don't feel comfortable downloading all the "flac software" so i try to get everything in mp3. my tech department at work is cool with having music on your computer but not downloading software programs.
The sound is so much better though.

No - studio. They are hard to get now.
I suppose most have heard The Seeker - but maybe not the others. They were singles - originally they were going to be on a EP.
-
I think it is nice they are not playing the same set every night again - but that is what CSNY said in 2000 - and they more or less played the same songs every night.
If anyone has never heard the following: Relay, Join Together, Let's See Action, and The Seeker - and would like to - let me know.
-
I own the Cream/Blind Faith/Derek and The Dominoes/Rainbow concert stuff. I don't really want anything else -

If you get lonely on your daddy's farm
Just remember I don't live too far.
And there's a red bridge that arcs the bay, yeah
You'll be at my place in less that a day.
So get on your bad motor scooter and ride
Up over to my place and stay all night.
First thing in the morning we'll be feeling all right
So get on your bad motor scooter and ride.
Ooh, the last I seen your face
I swore that no one would take your place.
Now since you've been gone I've been feelin' bad, yeah
I'd come out to your place (but)
I'm afraid of your dad. So you...
Ride, ride, ride.
Come on baby, ooh yeah.
Crank it on up!

Didn't he say a while back that he was not going to tour anymore? Weird.

I saw this over the weekend - in between little dude infomercials, First Blood, Becker, and Hogan Knows Best:

Is that the first time you have got in there?

I have a fully functioning Post Office Box for personal mail at the following address.Box 305
Twickenham
TW1 1TT
United Kingdom
All my mail is opened by my PA, even that delivered to my home address, offices and studios that some people have discovered, and at certain busy times I do fail to reply personally to letters I would very much like to deal with. For that I am sorry in advance. Anonymous mail is destroyed before it reaches me. This includes any mail with no return address or Box Number.
His website is a good place to read news straight from him -

They are actually going to release an EP and then a whole album.

Sorcerers of madness
Selling me their time
Child of God sitting in the sun
Giving peace of mind
Fictional seduction
On a black snow sky
Sadness kills the superman
Even fathers cry
Of all the things I value most of all
I look inside myself and see
My world and know that it is good
You know that I should
Superstitious century
Didnt time go slow
Separating sanity
Watching children grow
Synchronated undertaker
Spiral skies
Silver ships on plasmic oceans
In disquise
Of all the things I value most in life
I see my memories and feel their warmth
And know that they are good
You know that I should
Watching eyes of celluloid
Tell you how to live
Metaphoric motor-replay
Give, give, give!
Laughter kissing love
Is showing me the way
Spiral city architect
I build, you pay
Of all the things I value most of all
I look upon my earth and feel the warmth
And know that it is good

I tried to talk to my baby

How can you stand there smilin'
After all you've done
You know it seems to make you happy
When you've hurt someone
Twice before you fooled me
With your deceivin' and lyin'
Come in and close the door
One more time, one more time
Yeah you've been gone so long
No one knows where
And you say that you still love me
Then show me you care
'Cause you got what it takes sweet mama
To make a man feel fine
So I'll take the word of a liar
One more time, one more time
Girl you've got me hungry
Losin' my mind
I know I'm playin' with fire
Get burned everytime
Yes I'm a fool for you baby I can't deny
But I got to have your sweet love
One more time, one more time
Girl you've got me hungry
Losin' my mind
I know I'm playin' with fire
I get burned everytime
Yes I'm a fool for you mama I can't deny
But I got to have your sweet love
One more time, one more time
Yes I'm her fool once more
I can read her brown eyes
But when the rooster crows tomorrow
Well its her turn to cry
I'm headed down that old road
She lost her free ride
So tonight I'll take what I paid for
One more time, one more time
One more time

Take me back where I come from
All I need--feeling blue
Friends that I made in my youth
Now I'm older
I love them more
Moon shines bright above
Never seems to change
Ever smiling face--no one asks why
Everyone wanted his soul
All he gave them was a smile
People can change overnight
You most of all--yeah that's right
Find yourself on the ground
Where you been?
What have you found?
Yeah, now you know the score
Never want no more
Keep yourself in your own mind
Can you believe what I say
That I'm glad, feeling sad
I'm feeling awful cold
I've just been bought and sold
In my eyes you'll see
The sign of fear
Take me back to see
What I left behind, yeah
Ooh, superficial people told him where to go
Everyone wanted his soul
All he gave them was a smile, oh
