I had Tires tie black, which makes no sense, originally, but after seeing another version changed it to tired stoplight. But after listening some more I have to say that tires tar black sounds correct. Thank you.

It is kind of hard to hear some of the lyrics on this one. pop made sense to me because of blacktop cracks, but who knows. We will know for sure in May.

I feel like the lyrics on this album are fantastic, among Jeff's best, so I figure if we put our heads and ears together we can bust these out in no time. I'll begin. I started with what is my favorite song thus far and after figuring the lyrics out I love it even more. Edited after going over Bobbob's version Side With the Seeds the tired stoplight where the blacktop cracks weeds pop through dark green enough to be blue when the mysteries we believe in aren

I think it is Wilco's most beautiful album so far. Sky Blue Sky and Side with the Seeds are amazing. Particularly Side with the Seeds. Great piano work, I feel like you can feel Pat's influence in the organ work on some songs, "You Are My Face", Nels is fantastic injects just the right amount of rock-freak-out, Glenn shows his ability to play gorgeous laid back drums, John, as others have pointed out, continues to show he is the greatest bass player since Rick Danko and Jeff's lyrics are fantastic. Once again, a change from what came before, but still fantastic. Thank you Wilco.

I as well would appreciate a PM. Much thanks.

Can I just mention that Wilco is the greatest band ever.

Patty Griffin - Children Running Through

The new is fantastic, although I still like 1000 Kisses the best. -
I am fine with either version and I got lucky last week and finally got a dime account. So I'll jump on it as soon as you post it and leave it running.

Hey, I was standing right by John when you were getting your record signed waiting to talk to him. I picked up the new CD last night and unless I am losing it, that song is not on it, which just means we have something to look forward to on the next album. I completely agree with your assessment of the crowd and show. One of the quietest crowds I have ever heard. I didn't hear anybody talking, it made for an amazing experience. Glad to know it was taped. The new record is great, but it doesn't live up to what I saw in person and I need to have that show to remember it by. Thanks

Anyone else go? Not a lot of people, maybe fifty. Got a few photos, haven't looked at them yet. I know there was talk of someone recording, but there were no mics and that is to bad cause they sounded fantastic. I don't have a setlist, but it was similar to the others I have seen. John said it was the best sound they have had so far. Got to meet him afterwards, after waiting for him to talk to his family that lives in Dallas. Very kind and gracious, but broke my heart when he told me Wilco probably won't be coming back to Fort Worth, even though he said he enjoyed it. But I did hear hi

Thank you very much. It was a great show and thanks to you I can enjoy it again.

Just finished it. It was phenomenal. Completely different than Eggers other novels. Not a bit of sarcasm to be found. Despite the topic, Sudan, it never plays for sympathy, it is well written with a wonderful voice. Which is actually that of it's subject, Valentino Achak Deng. Really, really fantastic. Just for the record I love Heartbreaking Work..., but thought Eggers was trying to hard on his others, couldn't finish the second, If you kind of like him, or want to, give this a chance.

It is a little contrived, but as my wife said, "so you think there is a mole in CTU this year?" They have used up a lot of plot devices already and for some reason I enjoy Jack having to deal with family/friends being evil.

Just saw Tweedy Saturday, going to see Ron Sexsmith tomorrow night and I bought my Autumn Defense and Old Crow Medicine Show tickets tonight. Freakin' Awesome! Not to mention that Sexsmith tickets were $12 and Autumn Defense $10. I am giddy. Not much could make me happier. Oh yeah, I saw Wilco five minutes from my house in Fort Worth in October. (Hope it doesn't sound like I am bragging, but I haven't had a good run of shows like this for a while.)

I thought we were going to have to wait a while to see Jack torture his brother, but not this year. Jack says hi, Jack tortures. That is what I like to see.

Holy crap. Has anyone else watched tonights episode. It was great. I won't elaborate to much now, but I love the intrigue that has been introduced.

He was dead center at the front of the last divided section on the floor, if that makes any sense. Probably about thirty feet back.

I spoke to the taper and he said he was going to put it on via chicago and dime a dozen. So it should be available soon.

Yes it was. The encore was also split up, but I don't remember where the split was. Here are a few photos I took, the lighting didn't make things very easy. Acuff-Rose Marquee As evidenced by these photos and contrary to what I stated earlier, I was not stage right, but left.
-
Yeah, great show. I was also front row stage right. Stripped sweater, no not a Cosby sweater! Amazing show. Crowd was pretty good. After Mountain Bed I could have gone home happy, but then Be Patient With Me blew me away and then Jeff stood literally twelve inches from me during Acuff-Rose. So yeah it was a good night. Thank you Jeff. Please don't be a stranger. I got a few pics, will look at them in the morning and see if any are worth sharing.

Tickets say doors at 8:00, but the Granada website says doors at 7:00 Here Tried calling the Granada, will try again later as they didn't answer. Just wanted to give people a heads up on the conflicting info and see if anyone had more info. Kent More... Frontgate tickets website says 7:00. Frontgate I am leaning towards believing 7:00.

I will be there. I am just a little excited about this.

Sorry, it took me a while to respond. I've been busy.

This is amazing. It completely justifies any harm the internet may have done. Fantastic.

No shit, but maybe John should take vocals, I think his voice suits the song better and since he is one of the greatest bass players since Mr. Danko. It would be amazing. But really, Wilco playing the band would make me very, very happy no matter the song or instrumentation.
