just read her latest FB entry...sending good vibes because I don't like what I'm reading, however I thought it was funny that she asked Jeff to shave off his neck beard!
I'm not sure if it's appropriate to ask you to elaborate but I've been anxious for an update on her diagnosis.

In the last couple of days I've gotten emails from Mass MoCA talking about a major expansion and renovation that has recently had funding approved and is expected to be completed by late in 2015. I haven't scrutinized the emails enough to figure out whether any of this will have the effect of expanding the venue's capacity--I'm not sure how it could unless they're adding acreage to the museum grounds--but perhaps that expansion will alleviate the crowding somehow. It sounds like most of the money is earmarked for renovation of existing galleries and improvements to the entranceways, etc.
I read in the local paper that the outdoor performances spaces were going to be developed as well. That's pretty good news.

I've sort of refrained from doing the kind of recap that I usually do because a. I haven't had a lot of time until now and b. because I feel like enough people on this forum were probably there and can certainly chime in with their observations, etc.,
I was really kinda looking forward to your recap of these shows. You always give such great details that I don't feel so bad that I wasn't there.

Would be a good idea to have a thread JUST about accommodations maybe.

I'd be more inclined to go if they had single day passes. It is about 2 hours away, but not sure I want to spend all that dough for a 90 minute set.
That's how I feel. I'm less than an hour away but am not really interested in this festival and have never gone to it. A friend who works a food booth at the festival told me that they offer single day passes but I couldn't find any listed. Maybe they hold off on that until the event gets closer. I'm not sure.

I went to Toronto so I'll pass on Coachella and hope for something on the East Coast this summer.

I stopped worshiping musicians long ago, like after the teen years.

Everything. As soon as I have a new favorite song of the moment, I'll rack up 60 listens in a day or two. I'll go a whole day just listening to the same song.
Yup, me too.

It was pretty much over from the original post.

Jesus, Westerberg is one of the best song writers ever. That alone is enough for me but there's so much more to them. I understand why some aren't into it but for me they rank very high.
They should be inducted but I don't think they or their fans would be shocked if it didn't happen. Replacements fans have learned not to expect much.

I like Dinner Party Download. It's a mix of music, art, culture and interesting guests. Funny too.

I don't mind waiting a year but I hope the 4th of July weekend info is wrong.

Wow, talk about about mixing it the setlist. That looks great.
So, has Glenn really retired the standing-on-the-drums thing at the start of I'm the Man Who Loves You?
Yes, they said at Solid Sound that he will only do that at Solid Sound from now on.
Can't say that I blame him for wanting to retire that.
