Aren't you used to people here jumping to the worst possible conclusions about something you've written? Of course, that's true of the entire internet.

stupid spell check!  But other then my poor spelling, do you have any thoughts about this.  I really want to know.  The Right are decrying this as an illegal action, but I have yet to see any evidence that it is.  

I'm pretty sure the Right thinks Obama's very existence is illegal.

I think NoJ is right. I haven't thought too much about this, but it doesn't seem like there is anything illegal here. But I don't know what the Right is claiming. Maybe Obama's plan is too sensible?

 

For my two cents, obliviously, I think the action was legal and within the bounds of the law and also has precedent.

These are still individuals writing their reviews, though. I doubt Pitchfork is telling its writers that any references to past albums have to square with what was originally written about them.

i thought Poor Places was on there...scratch my Side/Seeds call. i'm w/ bleedorange.

I've always thought of Poor Places as one of a handful of iconic Wilco songs. I was really surprised it wasn't included on this.

Side with the Seeds is the only song from the last three albums that I would put on this compilation.

I'd probably go with Hotel Arizona and Poor Places.

Although, the selections from A Ghost is Born could stand a redo (other than Handshake Drugs).
