If I saw that sign at Red Rocks I woulda burned it....the wonderful lack of W(TA) has contributed significantly to the quality of these setlists....2 nights minus bull black nova practicallyade the trip for me....
Without being there I also have a sneaking suspicion your tweedy sarcasm-meter wasn't on at the time
-
That it is... it is also the theme to "That 70's Show"
I believe that he was aware of that

There's really nothing i've ever seen at T5 that could be described as "intimate". They overpack the place, it's always been boiling hot and the acoustics are awful. Other than that it's a fine venue.
I'll still be there.
the only show i truly regret missing is the Warsaw in Brooklyn show from a few years back.....easily one of my favorite boots

Ok, I've finally recovered from my Morrison experience enough to chime in with a few thoughts. My major takeaway from the experience is that like evan dando, i lied about being the outdoor type.....camping in 105 degree heat just not my cup o tea....with that being said.........
The shows were spectacular, even exceeding my lofty expectations. I've been to back-to-back's in the past with too many repeats for my liking, but the mix for both nights was sweet sweet sweet.
Loved the mellow, familiar feel of Friday followed by the 2.5 shit-kicking hours on Saturday......kind of mirrored their opening acts for the two nights as well.
26th full band show + first Dreamer in My Dreams = worth every $$$ of debt i have buried myself in.
20 days til Camden!!!

certainly looked that way but i heard it explained thus: it wasn't offsides because the ball came off an Irish player, not as a pass from a teammate.
Definitely off the Irish player, no offsides.
Irish need a miracle tomorrow.

Had Reds just to win today, just sent Carlos a box of chocolates

They opened their summer tour with a benefit show at the John Boyle O'Reilly Irish Club in Springfield, Mass the other night with Titus Andronicus Ian O'Neill grew up at the place. Not a huge fan of the newest record (McCauley just wanted to make a fun, rockin replacements record so people would stop calling him just a folk/country guy), but live they just bring it every time. Great tribute to Levon as well with Ian's uncle singing a verse.

Red Rocks & Wilco is simply a dream setting with a dream band.
Planning my trip already, Boston flights are the cheapest right now from philly to maine, for northeasterns thinking bout taking the plunge.
Im in CT but would have to pick my brother up in VT, then head to Boston.
Eff it, i've always wanted to drive cross/country too, what better time than now.
If we do go thru with it i'll have room for 2 if you got the gas $$$
-
Only met you only once but im pretty sure ive seen you at just about all the 30 shows ive been to (all east coast, from vt to dc)....pretty sure u missed burlington, vt in sept 04, cuz that's the only show i got to review first....slacker
