it's just a fact. you never know what you say that's going to insult someone, even if it's not your intention. while I'm on the internet a lot, internet communication has brought about the depersonalization of human contact. you'll say one thing without the intention of hurting anyone, they they go about thinking they were insulted... or WHATEVER! just sayin.

I usually get the flu shot, but haven't this year. I had the flu very early in the season, so hopefully I won't get it again. I try to use zinc, probiotics, and good food to help protect against illness. garlic, garlic, garlic! and ginger

I'm sorry for the experience you're going through. I've been going through a similar experience with my uncle for years now. he's been very lucky so far. it is difficult for sure and everyone wants a positive outcome and to be supportive. but we also have to face the fact that some things don't always turn out the way we want them too. I truly hope that this is nothing serious for Sue and that she gets the quality care she deserves. lord knows she has tons of people that love her!

it's not that it doesn't sit well with me. I watched it again last night and I'm fine with the ending. I guess I just wasn't expecting it to end that way, which is good I guess. unpredictable as the entire season was. I really love it and hope they renew for another season. I would be interested in a season with the two detectives that interviewed Marty and Rust. if not, then I'm very curious to see which actors they will pick next. it will be a difficult act to follow, that's for sure.

on another subject, I'm going to say in this thread that I think the band Low sucks. I saw them live, open for Wilco at the Hammerstein. my husband and I wanted to pull our hair out. excruciating.

I get that the major plot line in the show was the relationship between Marty and Rust. however, I thought the end should have taken place when they were about to be rescued. just my opinion.

yeah, that's what they've said from the beginning; new characters each season. I hope it's renewed. it's a truly great show, excellent writing!

I love love LOVE this program! everything about it from the writing, cinematography, and acting is outstanding. can't wait for the next episode, although I don't want it to end.

I don't think it's unreasonable for them to take a break this year. seems like they've been going non-stop for at least the last 10 years if not longer. plus with everything Sue is going through, I'm sure that Jeff wants to be there for her every step of the way. lord knows he loves that woman!
