Today the air is heavily perfumed with the fragrance of blooming trees and shrubs.

Today I started drinking beet root juice. Red pee and a headache were the results.

Or take a 5 gallon bucket, fill it half way with water, sprinkle sunflower seeds into the water (they float) and lean a board on the lip of the bucket with the other end on the ground. First time I tried this, I got 6 of the critters. I call it the Chipper-Dipper.

I'm in the sw burbs of Chicago but I live in an older, unincorporated area which I think helps with the wildlife. I had a coyote eat a rabbit in my backyard last nite. Didn't see it but I heard it happen.

Today I noticed that the Caspian Tern has returned to my pond. Based on what I saw last year, it will hang around for a week and then beat it on down the road.

I was hunkered down by the shoreline, fishing, when I looked up to see a raccoon sleeping in the crotch of a tree about 10' above my head. Then I starting looking around to see 'coons sleeping in trees all over the place. Never saw anything like that before or since. -

Back in the early 2000s, those woods were INFESTED with raccoons. I mean, they were everywhere. -

Back when it was still part of Rosehill cemetery, I used to sneak in to that wooded section (now the West Ridge Nature Preserve) and go carp fishing. The fishing was awesome! Very isolated spot too, I had concerns that I might stumble across a body. Saw coyotes in there. -

Yeah, that's a bummer Stewie. My buddy accused me last night of only being able to look at one side whereas he has the ability to see both sides because he watches Fox AND CNN. I reminded him again that I don't have cable or satellite and get my news via AP, Reuters, Chgo Tribune, BBC and the WSJ. He thinks there is this massive conspiracy that has poised most of the American media against 45. I said, well yeah, with good reason too. That didn't go over well.

Sadly, google has blocked me. Something about my search history scaring their tech nerds, blah blah blah. But, thanks Lammy!

Today, we were wondering what sort of car Walt drove in the first couple seasons of Breaking Bad. We just finished season 3, wow wow wow.
