Me and my daughter loved Haters. I likened it to Curb Your Enthusiasm but with more crazy. Sadly, Netflix just cancelled it, no third season.

Glad to hear all these positive stories on joint replacements. My mom had a very different/difficult experience which she managed to get through but now has lasting negative consequences.

I saw the bulk of my shows from 87 thru 90. I don't recall too much "risk" outside of the normal risks that state and fed laws imposed on my lifestyle. Lots of sketchy people on the scene though. We always had a tent or car to sleep in/under. I could see not having one making things very different.

"Million Dollar Bash", again. It's about Dylan's Basement Tape era and catalogs all the known tunes they recorded. If you are a Dylan nut, its a great read.

Last time I saw Phil at the Riv (Fall, 2001) I ended up with pneumonia and was out of work for a month.

"Ozark", first couple episodes. Seems to be "Breaking Bad" lite. Its fine, nothing earthshattering.

I've watched some video with Mayer playing with the boys and it didn't do anything for me. My preconceived notions of Mayer didn't help either.

Back in the mid '90s I was walking down an alley on the northside of Chicago when I came across a bunch of record albums leaning against a telephone pole. On closer inspection, it turned out to be the first five REM albums. All in great condition. Thank you to the kind soul who thoughtfully put those out there for me to find and cherish.
