Stewie, I can only listen to that fat greasy pill poppin' liar for a few minutes at a time. His arrogance and lies make me start swearing at the radio and that's not good for my blood pressure.

Today, according to limbaugh, the wheels are not coming off of the current GOP administration. Rather, 45 is now hitting his stride. Yep. You cant make this shit up.
-
Yep, just another normal day in the White House

Yeah, Steve did a great job in wrapping up an era. Last three tunes played were Shout at the Devil, Number of the Beast and Highway to Hell. There's an interesting blog post at www.bighairplasticgrass.com that discusses the relevance of The Loop back in the day.

Hot Snakes at Thalia Hall

Yeah, I heard about that. I wonder if they'll find Patti Haze? Anyhow, a nice way to close up shop.

I found a great copy of Time Fades Away a few years ago, original pressing. Just need to find On The Beach to fill out the Ditch trilogy.

Now you're just twisting the knife in my ribs

Your suggestion doesn't seem sincere

Fontanos, one of their branch locations. So damn good.

Today I learned that my favorite farm stand, where I get my local honey and produce, will not be opening this year. The entire operation is being sold to developers. First The Loop going off the air, then my favorite Italian sammich place closing, now this. Its like all the pillars of my life are crashing down. I am crushed.

Lammy, you don't understand. In conjunction with all the hard rockin music, The Loop had Steve Dahl, Brandmeier, Sky Daniels, Mitch Michaels, all the great partyin' DJs of the time. Bob Stroud too, I think. Now the format is watered down to 2500 tunes, classic rock style, but back then, it was a force to be reckoned with. Disco sucks!

Today it was announced that Chicago's premier rock n roll station, The Loop 97.9, has been sold to a Christian radio company. Omfg, rock n roll is in serious trouble here in Chi-town. I've been listening to The Loop since 1979. Where am I gonna get my dose of Thin Lizzy and Two for Tuesdays and Skynard and Rock Block Weekends and Led Zep? I'll be in seclusion.

Well, my parents didn't know me very well so.......plus, it was the '70s. Would I buy my 16 yr old son a rifle? Probably but he doesn't want one so problem solved.

Got. It was an xmas gift

I got my first rifle when I was 14

limbaugh just said that the boycott push is led primarily by bots and that it wont work because most people don't want it. Last I checked, 75% of Americans aren't gun owners and that 1% of the American public are NRA members. Based on these facts, limbaugh appears to be back on the hillbilly heroin.

I say, screw Billy after Gish. It all went down hill from there.

For grins I like to go to breitbart and read the comments. A common theme I noticed today was dismay that Obama and Clinton were not under investigation for "weaponizing" the FBI and other supposed crimes that folks had trouble articulating. Are these folks Russian agitators? Or just plain ol' mouth breathing American dullards?

Scream for me Long Beach!!

I'm gonna go with Ian Gillian from Deep Purple. His howl embodies rock n rock to me. Since there really is no right or wrong answer, please share your thoughts.

The dotard yet again hit a new bottom today stating he would've run into that high school, without a weapon, to confront the shooter. The silver lining was the belly laugh that statement gave me. Imagine that guy running. The only running he can do is with Russian assistance.

Saw "Annihilation" on Friday night, pretty trippy. It appears the film makes folks either hate it or love it. I liked it. Watched "Lucky" last night. Wow, what a great send off for Harry Dean Stanton. It brought me to tears twice.

Loves me some Hot Tuna. Saw them a few times in the late 80/early 90s. Yeah, that's me at 3:00. Dang, I had a great afro going on back then.

From this day forward, all schools shall be fortified underground bunkers with a single entrance surrounded by mine fields.
