Her actions were well within the scope of her job. Its nothing but a distraction. Why aren't his supporters asking why so many people within his administration are in communication with Russians? That's the story.

yeah, what is up with that?

It appears my friendship with a old college buddy who supports trump is about over. I didn't want to engage him on specifics but he kept on needling me. When he texted me yesterday, crowing about Susan Rice's "crimes", I engaged, much to his dismay. God, these supporters are so effing stupid. I really did try to take the high road with this guy out of respect for good, old times.

I've seen pictures of Dylan during that tour where he had pancake makeup on or some shit. Also, I love Brave New Combo's version of "Must be Santa"!

Yep, they opened for Motorhead/Nashville Pussy and Neil Young.

I agree, Social Distortion blows. Seen them twice, ugh.

It means anything to distract the press and public from pushing for a special investigator with subpoena powers to determine how deep the ties are between this administration and the Russians.

Oral History: Chicago's 1990s Alt-Rock Explosion
NoJ replied to Beltmann's topic in Someone Else's Song
Great article! I was fortunate to have experienced Chicago's rock scene before, during and after it hit its high water mark. Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village were hotbeds of activity because rent was cheap. Friends of mine had a big place on Damon that was turned into a bar called Wild Cherry when they moved out. Material Issue was playing everywhere around town. I must've seen them 10 times over a year or two. Batteries Not Included, Club Stodola (?), Caberet Metro/Smart Bar, Lounge Ax, Gingerman, Urbus Orbus, Milk of Burgandy, Hot House, Fireside Bowl, Bluebird, Empty Bottle. I saw so many conc -

My dog doesn't like Neil Young & Crazy Horse. Had it jamming nice and loud last night and she went and hid under the stairs.

Jerry. On and off the stage the guy was a pleasure to behold. I could listen to him talk for hours.

I concur, Kidsmoke. I've been calling my senators and congressional rep and writing letters.

Thanks but I wasn't asking you.

Man, that Chicago Blues Fest line up is spectacular! I was there for the Saturday night festivities. Enterprising locals used to wheel around on dollys 55 gallon drums filled with beer and ice. One buck, one beer. Blues Fest used to be one hell of a party.

How do you like your pork tenderloin prepared?

I listened to some of 3/16/94 last night, the DS specifically but a few other tunes too. Thinking back, I bought a ticket the day of the show from a scalper while on lunch. I had pretty much checked out of the GD scene by then but I couldn't resist the siren song. Went by myself, walked around the lot before hand with a 40 of Old Style. I was wearing an Irish cap and a pea coat. I got a lot of sideways looks from Jerrys kids that day. In the venue, I ran into a guy I knew who gave me a handful of mushrooms. Ended up partying with some rastafarians during the first set (High Time!!) and wanderi

Turns out I saw another Dark Star on 6 22 91 but there weren't any lyrics. My memory recalls it being a tease at best.

Second set, I recall dancing in the back of the stadium and someone passed out nearby. The sound of that guys skull hitting the pavement remains in my memory to this day.
