I forgot this event was even happening. Ugh, it played 3 miles from my house. I was busy mowing the dandelion jungle that used to be my yard.
-
Also, it couldn't have been the ghost because its been gone now for 8 years.

Oh, I got da fax, mang Mainly, it wasn't like that yesterday and we had no wind last night and the kids for sure didn't do it and there were PIECES of shingles UPSIDE down on the roof and this happened before about a month ago too and I couldn't figure out how it happened. Now I know. Critters. Your wood thief? You better cut him good if or when you see him next. That lowlife needs a good cutting.

Today, as in just a moment ago, I discovered that an animal pulled up some shingles on my frickin roof. Dammit. I try to live in peace with these critters and yet again they're costing me time and money. Implementing the "whack and stack" policy as of Monday.

Cavett was sort of candid......he admitted to not remembering much from the late 60s

A neat little investment in Bear wear....

I expect a drunken Tim Robbins to show up here any minute now.....

There is a raving nutjob element to the Left, just like the Right.

Hey JW Harding.....you should get the Dreamin' Man CD......"Natural Beauty" was recorded at the show you saw. Great version too.

Jimmy Walker is sure to get the nod. At least, I'm hopin'.

It was quite an unruly crowd. Someone thought it wise to flood out the lower floor bathrooms. Someone else was handing out bottles of champagne in front of the theatre, steps away from the ticket takers at the door. And then the crowd wouldn't hush up, even when Neil said something about it.

I was at a NY solo show at the Chicago theatre when he cut the show short due to the drunken crowd. The following nights set list was amazing in part thanks to no alcohol sales at the show.

Watched the Janis Joplin documentary on PBS-American Masters last night. Sad story, amazing footage. Definitely worth 2 hours.

The book was fine; my wife didn't care for the ending. I've not seen the show so I cant comment on it.
-
Did you read the book? "Leftovers"

Spent some quality time last Sunday night listening to "Tin Angel" on the Tempest album to find out what the hell happened in that song. Man, that Bobby D can spin a tale! Definitely worth the repeated listens to figure it out. Also, "Roll On John".

All this bee talk has me hankerin' for one of Neil Young's famous Honey Slides.

The Landing on Water tour in 86 was pretty awesome though. I still listen to my tape from the Cow Palace of that tour.

That doesn't sound like a very jazzy line up for JazzFest. Good artists but jazz?

Today I learned that Mick Taylor played lead guitar on "Sway". I always just assumed it was Keith.

Was listening to 1/17/68 last night. I picked it out randomly on Archive and immediately recognized the show when it kicked in because of the announcer who introduced the band sounds like he's 12 years old or just took a big hit of helium or perhaps is a Wee person. I dunno but the show is a keeper despite some cuts and some tape whine. The Eleven and Spanish Jam are standouts.
