Yesterday I made a fiery hot chili to enter into the annual chili cookoff contest. I still have no name for it though.

I recall seeing actual wagon wheel ruts on the ol' Oregon Trail in some state park out west. They were somehow still there. Pretty cool. Now reading...."The Tommyknockers" by S King. I read it in 88 and am on a King binge lately so what the hell.

On Sunday night, around 9:10pm, I saw one whopper of a meteor. It slowly traveled across the entire sky, from West to East, was very bright orange and had a long orange tail. That sighting ranked right up there with the 98 Leonid meteor storm and when I saw that Russian satellite fall from space in the early 90s.

Oh yeah, how'd the party go? You end up wearing her high heels again? Based on how the weather turned last night, Fall will be here soon.

Hot Italian sausage with brown rice and giardiniera was consumed for lunch. Mmmm, good.

Yesterday, well it was over last weekend, I threw away stuff that I packed away for the move to our current home 9 years ago. There was nothing of value except my cassette tape box which holds 24 bootleg tapes. That I didn't toss. Instead I've been listening to live Zeppelin and Floyd in glorious analog.

Heh, it took only 3 minutes for yet another softball to get knocked out of the park!

Excited about seeing Giving Tree Band play at a private event in a couple days. Woot!

Me and the family just finished the first season of "Under the Dome". I think the tv show should've prefaced the entire thing by saying that outside of a town being trapped in a dome, the show has nothing to do with the book. That and lots of laughable acting aside, we enjoyed the show.

Beefalo has a lot of promise....mmmmm......

Thanks, I'll look into that one. I read Drop City a while back and didn't care for it. It felt like TC was trying to impress by whipping out these unfathomable words that no one is going to know the definition of. But I'd be willing to give him another shot.
