Yesterday was the first Father's Day in the last seven that I was together with all four of my children. Two have moved to California and one to Denver. It was an excellent Father's Day.

I'm going to wait until I receive a physical copy of the album before I listen to it (horribly and stubbornly old-fashioned on this issue, I know). Anyone have any inside information on when dB will release Cruel Country on CD and vinyl?

Most thought that Roe would be scaled back, but not overturned I'm hoping that Justice Roberts will pressure the majority to "merely" erode rather than overturn Roe v. Wade (as the leaked draft opinion authored by Justice Alito advocates). What was leaked was a draft. A lot can happen before the final opinion is released. You would think that if SCOTUS rules that states are given the power to limit/abolish abortions, they would also be given the power to substantially limit/condition the right to own all or certain types of firearms.

Anyone else catch the hour long+ conversation last night with Jeff and Nick sponsored by "Illinois Libraries Present?' I got wind of it through my library. It was basically a 70 minute moderated conversation. Jeff and Nick were together somewhere in the hills of North Carolina (Asheville?). I enjoyed it. Both were relaxed, thoughtful and funny and spoke on a wide range of topics.
