Well, guess who takes on the White Sox in Chicago the 3 days following 'Roo? That's right, folks. The Marlins and White Sox begin a series on June 18. I'm going to have to seriously get to convincing my mom to make this happen. My birthday is 2 weeks after wards.

The Marlins have scheduled free concerts after every home saturday game, and among those announced, we have Kansas, Cheap Trick, Gloria Gaynor, Joan Jett. We're gonna party like it's 1979! Couple that with the fact that we are going to have lawyer's appreciation night, Educator's appreciation night, Mortgage Broker's appreciation night, and CPA appreciation night and one can't help but think the Marlins are by far the most random organization in all of professional sports.

"Won't Get Fooled Again" doesn't end with an "Alright", but near the end it does have the greatest primal scream "YEEEEEEAAAAAAAH" ever.

I've read almost everything he's released (the only ones I haven't that are available at my Barnes and Noble are Sunburned Country and Walk In The Woods), and he's great. I reccomend I'm A Stranger Here Myself, Mother Tongue (I think you'll enjoy that one, especially, Liverwhurst. It's all about the history of the English language, and language in general), A Short History of Nearly Everything, and The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid: A Memoir.

I saw it last weekend and I thought it was actually really well done. It had a pretty top notch soundtrack, for sure, and Adam Sandler was actually pretty good in his role. Don Cheadle was great too. His scenes with Jada Pinkett were probably the best in the whole movie.
