I think "In The Backseat" works incredibly well as the album closer, but I rarely listen to it unless I'm listening to the full album.

The bass playing on these songs is really great. John is one of the best. This is Paul McCartney-esque playing right there. He's playing very busy lines, but always mindful of the song first. Paul couldn't have played "You Are My Face" any better than John did.

This is gonna be awesome.

John's bass playing has never sounded better than it does on "Either Way". But "You Are My Face" is shaping up as the early contender for best song.

For anyone who was doubting Jeff's lyrical abilities, I turn you to "You Are My Face". This is one of the strongest lyrical songs he's done in a long time.

I'm starting to think "You Are My Face" should've been a Golden Smog song, and then Nels comes in and kicks my ass with that solo. This song really picks up after that. Definetly feeling the soul vibe.
