Ya. sadly he died in 2017 at age 62. He had some serious health issues. I knew him a little from music biz days & mutual friends. He did a show in Vegas at the Riviera for quite awhile where he talked about & played music that influenced him + some of his stuff. It was really good & I got to hang out with him after the show. We had met several years before. It was kind of an unusual booking for Vegas but nice as he got a decent income from it. He was also still doing Smithereens shows periodically. I don't think he ever put out a bad record & always was great live. The first ti

Yes. Another excellent record from DBT. They are on a roll with 2 great records in a year. The current (& longest lasting) lineup is really strong. Great cover of "The KKK Took My Baby Away" on "The New OK". I'm not able to buy many CDs as I'm on a fixed income now but I splurged & got this one. No regrets. DBT are one of my favorite bands, about equal to Wilco. I've had a bit of dialog with Patterson Hood via email & he's a really nice guy. We bonded over Midnight Oil during the last Oils tour. The last 4 DBT studio records are all keepers. All 3 shows from last years Heathen's Ho
