  1. I love his intro in that - something like "all y'all who wanna diss, can eat a d*ck"
  2. If it will "not deal with aliens or the intricate mythology about interaction between humans and extraterrestrials" I sure hope they have come up with a bad guy as awesome as the creatures in the forest, or that dude that could slip in and out of tiny places, or the fucked up hillbillies, or the chupacabra, or...
  3. I barely even want to mention it, but how about the stabbing at the lake? Sucked the breath right out of me.
  4. Damn, I guess I really need to rethink how much I enjoyed last night's game. Thanks!
  5. Could it be the same on that's on KW?
  6. There's a nice homage to Heat in Rushmore. From Shitley's.com: "In Michael Mann's 1995 classic, Heat, Val Kilmer's character Chris buys some dynamite and requests the order be charged to Ready Demolition, Tucson, Arizona. Three years later in Wes Anderson's Rushmore, Max also buys 15 sticks of dynamite for his production of Heaven and Hell. He also ask the order be made out to Ready Demolition, Tucson, Arizona." Now, you can own a piece of Ready Demolition.
  7. I do not like the new layout of Boston Dirt Dogs. Oh well.
  8. I was 14 when I went to see that with my buddy. We walked out afterward both saying it was probably the most entertaining movie we'd ever seen. For months after that, we had an ongoing bit where one of us would say "Man, I'd be a happy guy if I was still sitting in that theater watching Midnight Run."
  9. Oh yeah. I watched Midnight Run again a few months ago - still spectacular.
  10. Awesome. I've always meant to see that one. Someday.
  11. This is an odd argument you're hanging onto. Movies fit into genres, no?
  12. The only real dud on Kettle Whistle is "My Cat's Name Is Maceo" The rest is cool stuff I'm glad they released, especially "Slow Divers".
  13. This is like asking: who do you like better, Robert DeNiro or Al Pacino?
  14. I don't doubt you anymore. Wilco's gotta be the first band in my lifetime, I think.
  15. Still, jazz. It's been the summer home of the symphony for as long as I can remember. Which is only so far, of course.
  16. I wouldn't mind them taking the stage to the Indiana Jones theme.
  17. I've never heard of a rock act playing at Tanglewood. Wow.
