Thank you for the kind words! That’s a sad story about her best friend moving so far away, but it’s an awesome story about Jeff playing Just A Kid for her! Lots of stuff going on in the Tweedy-verse today, so I’m going to remind people in here that if you go to Wilco’s IG page at 11pm EST you can catch Jeff’s 20 minute-ish set for Australia’s Isol-Aid Festival. https://www.isolaidfestival.com/

You can catch Jeff Tweedy’s performance around the 40 minute mark. This happened the same time today while Live From Here was going on. And there’s also a live set from Jeff that’s going to start at 11pm EST for the Australian Isol-Aid Festival on Wilco’s IG page. It looks like his set is scheduled for 20 minutes per the official link. https://www.isolaidfestival.com/

That was amazing! The production and everything was perfect. I listened to it via their YouTube link and you can rewind it! It’s about 10 minutes into the program after the Fiona Apple song. https://youtu.be/BSHhGcqTCq4 -
Yes! Another awesome set of tunes. And i agree with you. Someone saw your request thread. Let me head over there now. Lol

I stumbled on this info over at the Late Night TV page. http://www.interbridge.com/lineups.html Should be fun seeing how they pull it off. Guessing it might look like The Rolling Stones performance last month. Everyone at home playing their part and some nice editing. Maybe the new song tomorrow ties in with this performance.

The other title that Jeff gave the song was “Let’s Find What We’re All Missing”. -

New Track from Wilco on this Saturday’s Live From Here
u2roolz replied to u2roolz's topic in Just A Fan
I came here to say this and knew in my heart that this had been said. I remember Jeff saying this somewhere, but I don’t recall where. I also kind of remember him saying something similar after The Whole Love came out. Do you think they might play the live recording of Let’s Fight that was released via Nugs.net a few weeks ago? Not really new, but it did just cross my mind as a possibility. -
It looks like this idea was scrapped by the Hangout Festival. Any mention of this on their social media pages have been removed. The Wilco set from 2012 can be easily found on YouTube. It’s assumed that they would have probably shown the set as part of a “Stay At Home” webcast featuring old sets from years past.

I’m not sure. It’d be amazing if it’s something that hasn’t been done yet on The Tweedy Show. Or it might be Half Life. -
Tune in to livefromhere.org at 6pm EST this Saturday to hear a new track from Wilco. #LiveFromHome https://www.livefromhere.org/shows/2020/05/16/norah-jones-wilco-punch-brothers-madison-cunningham-the-sklar-brothers-tome-papa-marion-winik

Oh, thank you! I read that he did Less Than You Think. I’m not seeing it. I’m using the IG app on my iPhone. Let me check on my computer. Edit: Thanks! I saw the link that you posted. Wow! The video quality is amazing!

First, congrats on the shout out from Susie! It’s a surreal experience. I had a similar one when she mentioned the recaps. I’m almost positive that the only thing that happened was that Jeff was in the bathtub, so the boys brought in some speakers and played Save It For Me over them. I don’t think Jeff ever got out of the tub or played anything from there.
-
You seriously deserve some sort of medal for doing that! I tried last night and gave up after 15 minutes and only got back to last Thursday. You’re right about the many reposts. There must be a dozen posts about the beer commercial and another dozen for the beans commercial. I don’t know who you would be on FB, so you can send me a PM here.

Thank you! I hit up YouTube and checked out the song and I know it. File under: songs you've heard, but never knew the artist or title.

Someone posted a clip of them listening to Save It For Me, while Jeff was in the tub over at the FB group. It was a clip uploaded directly from their phone. I have no idea who posted it and it’s almost impossible to find a 2 month old post without it being tedious. I’d be willing to donate $$ to a charity to watch the 1st episode.

Thank you! I fixed it for both episodes. I did hear Jeff tell Sammy that it was a Jackson Browne song too, but I forgot. And it doesn’t help that Nico’s version of the song is forever linked in my mind to The Royal Tenenbaums.
