  1. I loved Criminal UK’s 1st season. I forgot that season 2 was released last week. The reason I posted was to ask you the important question: are you watching Dark with the subtitles or dubbed in English? I really want to check that one out. I watch everything that I can with subtitles. It’s the best. Lots of times it’ll tell you the artist & name of a song.
  2. There’s also a virtual book tour event with Norah Jones. Each event ticket purchase includes a signed bookplate along with a copy of the book. Anyone ever have issues with signed bookplates? Does the adhesive still stick?

  4. Great find! It caught me off guard, so I didn’t do a Google check. I’ll update it in the recaps. Thank you!
  5. Thank you for the kind words, Donna! It should be noted that I used the wrong link for Susie’s cancer fundraiser. Sorry if that caused any confusion for anyone trying to donate. Somehow I found the link for the one from 2018. (Insert Homer Simpson’s “D’oh!”) That error has been fixed. Thank you to Susan Miller Tweedy for noticing the error. One of the more surreal sentences that I’ve typed out in this forum. 2020...am I right?

  7. It’s truly excellent to see a report from Paul in this space. It was a terrific show that I enjoyed from the comfort of my living room. Someone over in the FB group snagged a setlist and it had Ten Sentences in between Having Been Is No Way To Be & Guaranteed. That was the only difference.
  8. The overall quality was excellent. I couldn’t see anyone in the crowd, but I expected that. They could do only so many different camera angles given the limited space. It’d be worth a watch if you were there and want to relive the experience.
  9. The tourgigs website recently updated the start time from 6:30pm CST to 8:00pm CST. Can’t wait!
  10. No. I believe his friend is named Merwin Lichtenstein (sp).

John : “I think Wilco will try to make a record remotely over this winter, and see how that works. We did try it with the song "Tell Your Friends" and it came out quite good.” Here’s the original Portuguese version. http://screamyell.com.br/site/2020/09/16/tesouros-submersos-os-primeiros
  13. On Tuesday night’s episode, Jeff mentioned that the album cover is from photographer Robert Capa shot in Tunisia WWII era. Keen eye! https://www.artsy.net/artwork/robert-capa-american-soldier-el-guettar-tunisia
  14. 15. Lyrics for the new record are available on the Bandcamp app. I haven’t checked the website to see if they have them too.
  16. RE: Half Asleep - I’ve been listening to a few of the songs and I noticed that the first line in “When You Need Me I’ll Be There” is “half asleep all your dreams come alive”. You can check out Kate Vassos’ video. Todd Leopold has the song listed as “No One But You”. I’ll leave my list unchanged just in case.
  17. Great list, knotgreen! We like lists, so I had a running list on my iPhone of all of the unreleased songs that he’s done on The Tweedy Show. I reorganized it to fit the album sequencing. I placed episode numbers and a few notes here and there. And songs with quotes around them means that they are untitled. You might find them with a different title under YouTube user Todd Leopold. (Don’t mind the spacing. It looked too compressed without it.) Love Is The King Opaline (Ep 64/Ep 75) A Robin Or A Wren (Ep 3/Ep 39/Ep 83) Gwendolyn (Ep 60/Ep 61/Ep 79) Bad Day Lately (Ep 40/Ep 62) Even
  18. Thank you for the kind words! Yes, it does seem like a long time ago.
  19. Someone posted the album cover in one of the threads on the Shot In The Arm group. I’d post it, but I can’t seem to upload photos from my iPhone onto VC anymore. Edit: Ah! I see that RainDog found the cover. Nice!
  20. The date that I saw passed around during the chat was Friday October 16th. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10158777819555421&id=8290410420&ref=bookmarks It sounds like there’s a 15 second tease on the Wilco FB page.

Jeff jokes that he's with child. -- Stranger Things' Finn Wolfha
  22. Such a fucking disappointment when you compare it to other bands. Plus, this looks like an extremely lazy effort. The Boston show, which I attended all 4 on that tour, has been available on DVD. They filmed nights 1 & 2. Nights 3 & 4 were amazing. Go figure! This time we get the audio for the show with no new bonus tracks because there’s about 4 songs that were omitted for the release way back in 2001/02. The rumors were that it would feature one of the NYC post 9/11 shows at MSG or something from the 3rd Leg of the Elevation Tour in the fall of 2001. Even the outtakes were releas
  23. Thanks for the info! I must have been typing out my notes when it showed Jeff with a guitar because I don't remember seeing him play during that song.
