  4. Yes, you’re right. That show in Boston was webcast along with the next night in Concord, NH. I was at both shows, so I never had a memory of being home for the webcast. I was so excited that both shows would be available in excellent quality. Actually, I sat behind Grace Potter & her band at the Concord show. And I also sat next to tinnitus (Tim).
  5. Sue mentioned my comment last night about “Jeff can wear whatever he wants!”. Haha. I’m loving that he’s wearing the same bathrobe almost every night. I also asked for the Michael Stipe impression a few nights in a row & I think Sue mentioned the Stipe impression after she read a comment asking for an R.E.M. cover. And I brought up that they speak Yiddish on HBO’s The Plot Against America which Susie mentioned because she was talking about how they speak Yiddish on the show Unorthodox. Jeff knew right away that it was a Philip Roth book. I was thinking it’d be nice if we reminded Jeff o

  9. Oh, I know that Kimmel shoots in L.A. I attended a taping back in 2006. I should have clarified that I was surprised & happy that they were still going to be promoting Ode To Joy 5 months after the release date on a late night talk show. A lot of bands tend to do all of the talk shows at once. I guess WIlco has been in the other category where the band tends to spread out appearances and I appreciate them for that.
  10. Beautiful performance. I was sorta surprised to hear that Wilco was originally booked because they would have been on tour on the west coast. I don’t think Kimmel has ever had WIlco on his show. I know Jeff was on there last year. I’m guessing Jeff might show up on another late night talk show somewhere in the next few weeks.

  13. Summer’s EndAngel From Montgomery Illegal Smile I’m going to post the “setlists” for the past couple of Tweedy Shows in a little bit.

  15. Jeff Tweedy & Family will be on this Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC.
  16. Yeah, I’d imagine that Phil has to own the rights to the footage. The music though? I’m not so sure. Their music still makes me emotional too. I think a Rattle & Hum deluxe edition with bonus tracks and footage is long overdue. I’m sure a band like U2 that wants to make as much $$ as possible from past releases have a plan to do so.
  17. Excellent news! I’ve been a diabetic since April 2018 & I actually feel a lot better from dietary changes and more exercise, so I feel a bit indestructible, but I’ve noticed that when I’ve gotten sick it’s taken a bit more time to heal. Sports notes: (this should really be in the Silver Linings thread, but I’ll put it here since folks mentioned not being able to watch sports.) If you haven’t cut the cord, then you should be enjoying lots of old classic games from all 4 major sports. Today you can catch Game 7 of the 2016 World Series between the Cubs & Indians on your local FOX af
  18. I was surprised to see that The Dream Syndicate have a new record coming out in April titled The Universe Inside. I vaguely recall a post from Steve Wynn on FB saying that he had been mixing a new record for release in the spring. For some reason, I thought that my memory had been from late 2018 and for their last record released last May. The opening track, The Regulator, has a video and the song runs 20 minutes. In fact, this new record only has 5 songs with running times averaging around 10 minutes. The second song to be released from this new record also has a video. The Regulator T
  19. ^ I saw this posted over the weekend and came here to post this, but you beat me to it. Another thing to add to my ever growing watch list. I bought the bootleg Rattle & Hum “Outtakes” on VHS years ago at a record convention and had a few issues with the playback. I think I found out some of the songs had no audio. I don’t have a VCR anymore, so I’ll do some digging on YouTube to watch them. I know that they’re available on some bit torrent sites. Also, U2 released a live concert which you can only stream from their official website if you’re a fan club member. But it’s been making th
