This is totally correct. Jeff said the same thing at the Vic show in April. Something like "It happens with every record. They'll say (he uses a pretentious critic voice ) They'll never make another record like Sky Blue Sky."

Wow, so Jeff was being serious with the Cheeseburger story! I thought he was joking. He mentioned it during the Shepherd's Bush webcast yesterday, for those who are wondering. I hope someone has a pic of that.

Well, it's good to hear that there was no "altercation." I guess that's the way it came across on the webcast to a few people without the benefit of video. I didn't get to hear that part, b/c of the audio problems.

I hope so. If not, i have the Bill Fay part recorded. It actually came in very clear, unlike half the webcast. I can put it up here later, but I dont want to do anything else with my recording until i can find out if its gonna be available again through the roadcase. I'm sure the archive would sound better(and hopefully more complete) than mine. There were a lot of audio drop-outs during this webcast, and i missed a few songs.

I'm not surprised, since it's England. For whatever reason, he seems to continue to have difficulties communicating with British audiences. Have you ever heard the 4-13-97 Shepherd's Bush gig?

Damn, this show i hope will be available on the roadcase. My recording is turning into a nightmare due to the audio dropouts. It seems to have stabilized though.
