  1. Well as of right now, the signal is coming in as clear and clean as SBS itself, so barring any unforeseen internet crashes, we shall have a good one here. Jesus Etc.
  2. You are absolutely right. No other band does these things for their fans. We are all spoiled. I told a music loving friend of mine who isn't yet into Wilco about my experience at the last Tweedy show at the Vic. We cant believe that almost every song he played was a fan request, including mine. He thought that was so awesome that he promised that he would check Wilco out. It was my fault for missing that webcast in the first place. That's really why i'm pissed... at myself.
  3. yum! Junk food rules! Especially in the morning.
  4. I'm really pissed that it was the only one of these Webcast i've ever missed. Now i wont get to hear it unless someone else recorded it.
  5. I'll take one! Just go ahead and file transfer it to my computer. I'm gonna enjoy it. Wow, i really am delirious.
  6. Thanks! I've decided i'm gonna will my way through this if i have to. The second this concert ends, i'm going to sleep for a while, then watch the Bulls playoff game this afternoon. This is probably the strangest webcast of any i can remember due to the time difference. Imagine, we can wake up in the morning to hear a Wilco show! Cool...they're playing the Kinks! They've always played great warm up music for these things.
  7. I've just been messing around with the pc, making sure it's running nice and clean, so we can get a good recording of this thing...well that and Wilco-fed adrenaline are keeping me wide awake.
  8. Good morning, Donna! How are you managing to stay awake this morning? A cup of coffee, maybe?
  9. Hmm...interesting. I wanted to try out audacity, but maybe i'll just stick with my old standby, Creative Sound Recorder. I was lucky to get that when i bought this computer, and i know it works. I hope the signal will come in clear and uninterrupted this morning. These Wilcoworld webcasts have had a history of cutting in and out. Thanks again for torrenting these last two shows!
  10. The interview is available now in mp3. format, along with a short article on Jeff. http://www.abc.net.au/melbourne/stories/s1...5.htm?melbourne
  11. Very cool. I need to get out and get this. I checked their website....no picture of the cover yet.
  12. I'm gonna try to record this too. I missed the last Tweedy webcast, and since it looks like that one wont be archived on Wilcoworld, i'm pretty upset about missing it.
  13. That'll teach everybody to question his velocity ever again. That was awesome!
  14. Exactly what i was thinking. This was a killer who knew EXACTLY what he was doing when he starting planning this, sending the video in to NBC, knowing full well that it would be played over and over and that his so called "grievances" would be heard long after he was dead. His plan for twisted martyrdom worked perfectly. The media has to show more restraint in making stuff like this public. The 30 min. broadcast on NBC tonight was almost all Cho all the time. This is just not right. This will only inspire the next tragedy.
  15. This tragedy just gets more and more disturbing by the hour. The killer sent a "manifesto" to NBC news during the time in between the two shootings. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18169776/
  16. Thanks a lot! I'm downloading now.
  17. I remember Jeff saying that YHF was originally supposed to come out on 9/11, but then it was postponed when the band left Reprise and had to find another record label.
