  1. whoo-hoo! Springfield!
  2. Thanks Chad! I'll have to grab this later after i clean some space on my hd
  3. Yep. That was the same show that Wilco was on. In fact, they played WAMF right after that interview ended. There is a DVD torrent of the full show on dime, if anyone is interested in seeing it. I'll say it again: I can't wait for this set to come out!
  4. Was anybody able to grab the 5-28 Stuttgart 16-bit version? I'm unable to download that one, for some reason.
  5. I'm not a mod here, so this is just my opinion, but i think that Kidsmoke did the right thing here by locking that thread. I'm actually surprised at the restraint that was shown in this situation. Many of the posts on that locked thread today were not about the original discussion, an indication that it had been "talked out." My experiences with other not so well moderated boards as this one have been that when a topic starts to run out of gas, it can lead to a lot of back-and-forth volleying, which then lead to the thread getting really out of hand. People start making personal insults, and
  6. Does that mean that you've already written off this year?
  7. Oh, of course that Championship Season helped . I used to be a fan of both teams, due to my love of Chicago and baseball. More importantly, I didn't grow up in an environment where i had to pick one team over the other, so i never thought about choosing sides. That is, until the 2003 debacle ruined my relationship with the Cubs forever. The 2005 magic carpet ride of a season guaranteed that I'll be a Sox fan for life! If the Cubs were ever in a World Series, i would root for them. If the Cubs were in a World Series against the Sox, i would wish for nothing less than a South Side Sweep! I can
  8. Uhh....are you sure about that? I wholeheartedly support watching a baseball game. any game, for that matter, with Wilco involved. However, I don't know about being a Cubs fan. It'd be bad for your general health. If the Cubs ever used a Wilco song as their theme song it would be "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart." They've been doing that, and succeeding, for decades now. I officially stopped being a Cubs fan after the inexcusable playoff chokefest in 2003, and i have to admit, my heart has NEVER been healthier. One of the best decisions i have ever made. Go Sox!
  9. This makes me think of that Simpsons episode where Bart goes into a mall to get his ear pierced, and the clerk says "Ok. but ya better hurry kid. They're turning this place into a starbucks." Then he walks out of that store sipping a Starbucks coffee and its now a starbucks and every store in the mall is boarded up with a sign that says "coming soon: a Starbucks."
  10. I bought the Dylan-Live At The Gaslight cd at Starbucks. That was the only cd ive ever bought there.
  11. I've got that one lossless, in FLAC format, somewhere on one of my dvd-r data discs. If you still need it, let me know.
  12. It still could be on the next album. Remember that they released Handshake Drugs on the "More Like The Moon EP and made it a free download, and yet it still would up as a different version on AGIB. Downloading it now off the cd. Thanks for letting us know!
  13. Here ya go! I had recorded this show, and this one of the few songs that came out well. I had posted this in earlier in the official thread, so for those of you who may have missed it, enjoy! Wilco W/Bill Fay-Be Not So Fearful
  14. I like how Jeff said "Does anybody have a cheeseburger?" during the guitar feedback intro to ITMWLY. Some people who were listening to the webcast may not have heard it, since he said it so quietly. That might become a running gag at future shows.
  15. I Hate It Here aka "The Liar's Song"
  16. "Does anybody have a cheesburger?" That's gonna be a running gag for the upcoming Wilco shows.
  17. It has gotten better, at first i thought the noises were amplifier feedback, but then i realized it was probably the webcast.
  18. I have been getting little feedback noises during the entire webcast. Is anybody else getting that?
  19. 20 minutes to go. The audio is up now.
  20. Wilcoworld has a similar chat room set up for the webcast. The tech guys from Wilco HQ will be there too. I'm already in there, although there's nothing much happening yet. http://wilcoworld.net/chat/
  21. Ok, with only an hour to go before the 2nd webcast, its time to bump this thread up. Here is a link to the webcast, for those who want to listen. This one is free. No SBS cd required. http://wilcoworld.net/roadcase/index.php
  22. No, that was yesterday. Today's webcast is open to everyone. Be patient Jeffa. I'm checking the Wilco site, and when a link to the webcast becomes available, i'll post it in "the official thread."
  23. I believe it is. I've got a thread going both webcasts here. I'm recording it too. http://forums.viachicago.org/index.php?showtopic=28661
