I will be. It's been awhile since i've hooked up my FM to the PC, so i don't know if i'll be able to do that in time. If nothing else, i should be able to get the web feed.

Oh and i'd like to add that if someone can record it directly from FM, rather than the internet feed, it'll be vastly better sound-wise. I know that most people here know that already, but I'd thought i'd point that out anyway, in case someone here who is new to this kind of thing would like to try. I usually record from the FM to the pc using a sound recorder. One time, i recorded from the FM to my Sony double deck cd recorder, and that turned out great too. Cool! Usually i record these things for myself and other Wilco fans to enjoy for posterity, but since I'm going to be at the show, I hope someone else can record the feed and share it with all of us!

There is a companion coffee table book to the boxed set that was also released on Tues. I'm a big fan, so i picked up both the book and the DVD set at Best Buy. The book has the same name and picture cover as the boxed set and is about 240 pages long. There's some really cool pictures in the book. The DVD set is terrific! It's well worth picking that one up, in my opinion.

I got in. Section 101, row R. Wow that was an interesting experience....i tried the jammail presale first right at 10:00, and i got section 101 tickets. The order did not go through, and when i got back in line, all i could get was lawn seats. So i then tried the WXRT presale, and i was able to get the seat that i did. I feel lucky that i got a second chance. I just wondering aloud if they are gonna have better tickets available for the general sale tomorrow. I might try again then.

I think that even Mellencamp's die-hard fans were pissed off at him for the whole Chevy deal because, like Tom Petty and Neil Young, he had been saying over and over for years that people shouldn't license their songs for commercials. The version currently on Oink is a high-quality rip, possibly from a retail copy of the cd. It's certainly not the radio rip. I'm really enjoying this album.

AOL has a strange video file format that makes them difficult to capture. I don't want to say its impossible, but i haven't found anything yet that can do it. I love for someone to be able to capture it. I could, at least, capture the audio.
