  1. i saw mathew sweet play to promote "under the covers". he's got the pipes, fo sho. and greg leisz played with him then. i'm sure that greg will turn up at the l.a. gig, b/c he's always popping in on shows. don't know if he's part of the touring group, tho. still haven't heard the new record. any word?

  23. just last night "bennie and the jets" came up on the shuffle. terrific song. fantastic album (good bye yellow brick road). my favorite has to be "honkey chateau." the song "amy" gets in my head for days at a time. tumbleweed connection is also a big fave.
