Is the board not as active as it once was?

Definitely not the same. RIP, view new posts. -

I like that button, but it just takes you to the last unread post in a certain thread. The old "view new posts" link took you to a list of every thread, forum-wide, that had new posts in it. -
I love him - always have, always will. I grew up listening to Thriller, and stood in line some years later to buy the HIStory album on the day of its release. Not sure we'll ever see another performer as talented and special as he was. RIP, Michael.

I think this board looks alright; my biggest complaint is that my beloved "View new posts" option is gone. -

Awesome. I have a feeling I'm going to like that more than I like My Morning Jacket. -
Can someone please explain the Tweedy "Living Room Shows"?
Elixir Sue replied to Bart's topic in Just A Fan
As OTM and gogo have stated - no, that isn't where they played. Abbey Road studios: 3 Savile Row (Apple HQ), site of the rooftop concert: Beatles 101. -

The White Stripes board has a pretty extensive FAQ, and it's very handy. I'm just sayin'... I don't mean to nitpick, but they did not play on the roof at Abbey Road. -
Shit, you're right. Thanks, man.

Off topic, but did you already get yours in the mail? Still waiting for mine...

I sat during Impossible Germany (and did in Knoxville, too). -
Mine is this one, but with short sleeves: Here's the owl: Both are cute!!

Almost, but mine has a hummingbird on it (I think...it's definitely not an owl, anyway).

Pre Order through Nonesuch or Wilcoworld/Kung Fu

I just noticed that now it DOES say "Wilco (the shirt)". -
Almost identical to the Cincinnati setlist.

Thanks for posting that.

This show is tonight! It sure would be nice to see any Cincy-area VCers there...
-
I need this. Hope it's on sale at the Cincy show!

I can't wait to see all of you again (and some of you for the first time)! Two of my friends from Lexington are going to this show, and I don't know if I'm riding up with them or driving alone. If I get there in time I will definitely hang out at Nicholson's. BTW, I've seen the Heartless Bastards and have zero interest in seeing them again.

They ARE nice guys, and I'm sure some front-porch sitting and strawberry pie-eating would be right up their alley! Can I come?
-
Yay, happy birthday!!

Testing...I've got to make sure Jack White looks good on this board. This is like VC from the future! -
Realization about peoples changing perception of the new album
Elixir Sue replied to Winghead's topic in Just A Fan
I'm kinda with you. I like Wilco the Song, Bull Black Nova, and maybe Country Disappeared. That's about it. -
Glad you had fun!!

I finished Summerteeth and have moved on to Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Thought I'd post this here as a little tribute: (from Glorious Noise) The Jay Bennett track-by-track listing of instruments played on YHF Wilco chat rooms and bulletin boards (not to mention more legitimate music news sources) have been abuzz with rumors that Jay didn't actually play that much on Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Glorious Noise asked Jay to give us a track-by-track list of exactly what he did, and here it is for all the Wilco nuts to see for themselves! 1.
