they're playing denver on august 28 - reported openers are golden boots, ghost buffalo and porlolo. ghost buffalo and porlolo are denver-based, and golden boots are from arizona, so it seems pretty much local for this one too.

no, i didn't see harry potter today... i'm waiting a bit for the crowds to die down. but daniel radcliffe on conan tonight was charming, intelligent, funny and absolutely adorable. what a great interview that kid gives... plus he's a fan of art brut after seeing them at reading a couple years ago. art brut did "direct hit" and it was pretty much what i would have expected. good performance. plus i love eddie argos... talk about a dude that totally needs some ritalin...

^^i loved, loved, LOVED skeleton. and i'll tell you - the first time i listened to the new one i was disappointed too. it seemed to start solidifying after about the 3rd listen though, and i'm really enjoying it now. give it a bit more time, i hope you change your mind...
