The consequences of failing to bail out the Big 3 are starting

Two HS QB's that are better suited for RR's offense have verbally committed to Michigan for '09. While Threet may start early next year, I suspect that U of M may go to one of the freshman early on if Threet struggles. I seem to recall some other BigTen school had some success with a freshman QB this year. The only way Sheridan will ever see the field again as a QB will be if he is the lone survivor of a catastrophic accident involving all of the other QBs. So how many couches were burned Saturday?

Why is anyone talking about college football? Didn't the season end on Saturday? Michigan doesn't play until next fall, so what's the point? Go Blue!!! in '09.

Well, the team with the better players won 42-7. At least it wasn't a shutout and Michigan screwed Sparty's chance at the Rose Bowl (although I would have rather Sparty had that happen by their inevitable loss to Penn State). I hate to think what the lyrics to Carmen Ohio would have been had Ohio State not lost 86-0 to Michigan. Seriously, you have to have a lot of pride in your team and school to write such a good song after a whoopin' like that. Good luck to tOSU and Go Blue!!!!

Fixed it for you. I was about to write a nasty blurb about your school before I realized that not everyone in the universe realizes that UM=Michigan. And your right UM and U of M do suck this year. Which will make beating tUoOS all the sweeter. Go Blue!!! Beat tUoOS!!!

I would gladly take an ass-whippin' from Duke tonight for a Michigan victory over tUoOS tomorrow. But in any event, the Michigan B-ball team looked really good from what I saw last night (admittedly I did not see any of the first half) as the defense was outstanding. I don't recall the Bruins getting many easy looks when it mattered.

The real problem will be getting any kind of support from non-UAW-auto manufacturing state's senators. Some of the comments that I've heard from that guy from Alabama make me think that some GOP senators would love to see one or more of the Big 3 go down as it would take the UAW with them.

Well, another miserable day in the Big House. I don't know what was worse, the cold, the wind, the rain/snow mix, the offense that can't score a touchdown starting a drive on the NU 8, the defense once again giving up a huge play for the winning TD, or witnessing history as Michigan loses for the 8th time in the season for the first time.
