Is it a bugged bagel or a drugged bagel? Either way, bagel treachery will ensue.

The 30 second clip sounds like my friends in junior high who just got their first instruments jamming in their basement and recording on a 4 track. Sorry. Obviously it's not a long sample, but it's enough to get a general idea. But like I said, I'm not a fan of their instrumentals, so it should come as no surprise that I'm not blown away by this one. I still can't wait to see what happens with the bugged bagel.

As always....I'm sure the story will be highly entertaining, yes.

Well, the clip of song #1 is less than impressive....

I swear, that makes me sick. I hope someone else has started a petition to ensure that she goes to jail and serves her time like everyone else. I would do it myself but in my mundane existence I can't be bothered. What a first class fucking snob.

I'm really looking forward to the finale. I think no one person can stop Sylar, and that we're going to see all the Heroes come together and use their personal powers to help each other in a specific sequence in order to take him out.

Love those user comments.

As am I. I didn't click with Separation Sunday until after I got Boys & Girls. And then seeing them live.....well, I'm an official fangirl.

If the wedding wasn't 2 weeks away I would have been there myself. And at They Might Be Giants tonight. I can't imagine seeing either one of those bands at such a cool place as the Iron Horse. Glad you had a good time, willkoman!

Her mother makes it clear where Paris learned to respect authority. This article leaves out the part where Mrs. Hilton laughed at the judge and then asked for his autograph when he sentenced Paris.

You Must Be This Tall - The Story Of Rocky Point
Mrs. Peel replied to Mrs. Peel's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Holy crap, that's amazing! I didn't really go to RI in a non-family-vacation way until I went to college at URI. That's where I know the movie guy from. Actually, he was my college sweetheart. -
Anyone who grew up in or near RI remembers Rocky Point Amusement Park. It's slated for demolition soon, and my good friend has just finished a documentary about its history. Check out the website You Must Be This Tall including trailers and a news story about its release. And for anyone currently in the area, the movie will premiere on 9/7 at Woonsocket Stadium Theatre. I won't miss it!

I will forever find it funny that Analogman has gone digital.

Pick the next "find a band member for ..." show
Mrs. Peel replied to Atticus's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Al's suggestion is "find someone to play in The Misfits who was actually a member of The Misfits" -
Food/Drink you would not want to live without
Mrs. Peel replied to Atticus's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Cheese. Almost every meal I eat has at least a little (usually a whole hell of a lot of) cheese. I actually avoided having a free cholesterol screening recently because I was afraid they'd tell me I'd have to give up cheese. I know, it makes no sense. -

Hey, back off Huey. He's walking on a thin line. -

You mean that isn't where he's been for the last 10 years? -
I don't know about that....I'd say SOME Ditch songs blow away SOME Blessing songs. OK, maybe MOST Blessing songs. I've been endlessly tickled by the fact that every time I listen to the beginning of Try, I expect him to say "you can't make a woman out of me!" One more thing too, is it me or does Hurricanes and Hand Grenades belong on a Sharon Jones record, not Jason's?
-
My expectations were SO high for this, I don't think anything could have lived up to them. Absolutely a solid effort though, but it's way too polished for my taste. Especially when you're used to seeing him live. I'm reminding myself that this is actually a couple years old at this point too, and if he were to record another album right now I suspect it would sound a lot different. That said, I'm still really digging it. And lyrically, it's still 100% Trucker Jason.
