  1. horrible show. probably as bad as Mind of Mencia
  2. here's an interesting, yet morbid look at wrestler deaths since 1985:
  3. that was the last wrestlemania I saw. it was a great moment, these two guys I used to travel to see in shithole buildings and highschool gyms were on top of the world. but after this tragedy, I can't really look back on that moment with any fondness (except maybe for Guerrero), there is no amount of fandom that will allow me to mourn or try to understand a man who kills his wife and child.
  4. my mom was very excited when I told her this news. any chance at U.S. dates?
  5. seriously? you're going to make fun of this? a guy killing his wife and child, then himself, isn't really something to chuckle about.
  6. I might have oprdered form him too, but the name doesn't ring a bell. I used to go with whoever had the most footage for the cheapest price. then I found a Japanese grocery store close to my home, that rented Wrestling videos, so I didn't need to buy tapes anymore.
  7. I might be spelling it wrong, but I think the guy's name was Brian Sochia.
  8. that's where I ordered from, but I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation yet.
  9. yeah, this is really fucked up: I watched RAW tonight, for the first time in a year or two. the WWF(e) was never really my thing, I was a NWA/WCW guy, and I had followed Benoit's career in Japan via bootleg videos since the early 90s. we used to drive out to Philly every 4-5 weeks to catch ECW and he was on a buch of those shows. it took Benoit/Malenko/Eddy and Perry Saturn jumping from WCW to the WWF, that got me watching it on a regular basis. they did the right thing, and while I have fond memories of some of those matches, (it was surreal for me to see a New Japan match that I've
  10. they should just start rerunning the show from the first episode
  11. there was a VC interview w/ Tony Margherita, years ago. that's how I found this place.
  12. you can get tickets to the Hiro ballroom show, if you go to ryanadamsarchive.com
  13. slightly? the police are doing multiple dates in sold out stadiums. and Mayer sells out arenas. wilco sells out theaters, most of the time. I'd say there's more than a slight difference between the fanbases. and it's totally a popularity contest. MTV wants to air the band that'll pull in the most viewers.
  14. because John Mayer and the Police have a lot more fans than Wilco.
  15. I think Lilli Schull is a great song.
