  1. Album out today...anyone know if the vinyl will include a download code for the mp3's? May wait for the vinyl release if so!
  2. So if you seen the band many times then you know the shows in Mobile were off according to your earlier expierences....maybe it was just the crowd or venue thing. People rock out to Wilco here in NYC, NJ and I am sure wherever else..I have seen Wilco a dozen or so times since 1997 and haven't had any problems with the fans...yet.
  3. Just saw them at Stubb's good show as always! My thoughts are with Jenny for a quick recovery!! http://www.nme.com/news/the-decemberists/56440

  7. According to this article NYC and Osaka JAPAN?! have better pizza than Chicago? http://travel.yahoo.com/p-interests-39283338 As a life long NYC area resident I got to say I have had many great pizzas. None though have blown me out of the water. As an aside I am attempting to spend a few days in Chicago later this year to give Chicago pizza a good fair chance (what are the must haves?)...Also the pizza I had in Rome was blah...

  12. My wife has been wanting to go on a hot air ballon ride ever since we met. So for our 3rd wedding anniversary I finally pulled the trigger. As the date is quickly approacing I am getting anxiety about the ride. I am not affraid of heights perse but the lack of control due to weather and wind etc and being attached to a freakin ballon as a means of travel is starting to freak me out... Anyone ever been...how was it?

  16. Yeah I hear ya..I may clean house, I may upgrade..not sure what I will do yet! I put my ipod on random and I do tend to skip 10% of the stuff that comes up...The only reason I am hesitant is I listen to music 8-10 hours a day...I leave it on at my desk (as I need to drown out the lite-fm station!!! UGGGH!!!) and when I commute. I actually do go through most of the music on my ipod at one point or another...
  17. Nice stories...one other album that had a similar effect on me was Sigur Ros-Ageatis...I get goosebumps during the final 4 tracks!
  18. Where my ipod is filled to capacity (80gb)..I got the message last night. I started to panic! I had to delete some tracks to make the latest aquisition fit. What do I do from this point? Do I buy a larger one? If I buy it will i be able to transfer all my old songs...I don't think I have all my files saved on my backup drive! Yikes?! Anyone else in the same boat!

  22. Yeah it is unfortunate...I really enjoy Nu-clear Sounds, Free All Angels, 1977...Saw them a few times in NYC in dive bars...They just kept staying under the radar...really a shame...I did see them open for Colplay too back in 2002?
