  1. I always keep trying for the first 10 minutes just in case....
  2. The captcha should be numbers just so it is easier to read! By some luck I got a sorta short word that I could read but I had some 25 letter phrases before
  3. In for Bowery too! Ticketfast ticket no less...couldn't do will call? Tarrytown is sold out now too!
  4. Tarrytown holds 900 or so and is also on a Monday night..I would think it is still the easier ticket vs a Friday night NYC show in a 550 capacity room...
  5. If two people score two tickets each they can each walk in one guest or sell a pair...every show is unfortunatly scalpable Wristbands do though cut back on it significantly.. Only a similar note I completley forgot about the PRESALE! I am such an idiot (I remembered 5 minutes ago!!!)! Wish me luck on friday!
  6. Nuts...I just wasted $10 on a fake UT reunion ticket... Kiddin..
  7. Maybe it is the time...tickets on sale? http://www.ticketfly.com/purchase/event/19101
  8. I only got one ticket for Tarrytown too... Bowery is GA, Standing room...not really a bad spot in the house... I was looking for Will-Call too... $62.50 for 1 $48 ticket! Lot in service carges but am more than happy to pay that to be in the door! I can't walk there but am only 40 minutes away! Will also be seeing Medeski, Martin and Wood there in 3 weeks from the front row!
  9. Nice presale for Tarrytown! Scored Row B Center Orch! SEE YA THERE! Good luck for everyone trying!
  10. I have been to at least 30 shows at the Bowery..The are a very efficient oiled machine. I am not the slightest bit worried about the willcall for this show (Assuming I can score a ticket!) I have seen Depeche Mode here in a similar situation and it worked flawlessly. Any questions about venue, parking, places to eat etc send them my way! Hopefully I will see y'all there!
  11. I joined a class action suit against Sam Goody back in 2003 or so and got a check for like $18! The price of one Sam Goody cd
  12. http://www.pollstar.com/blogs/news/archive/2010/10/12/743610.aspx I wouldn't want to face the wrath of commuters!
  13. Ha! That's great! on a related note I just scored ticket for the 12/30 MSG show which is ironically the 15th anniversary of my first Phish show in the same spot good ol MSG!
  14. "One of the defendants, Curt Schlesinger, purchased four Wilco tickets from Ticketmaster in 2003 and paid an additional $19.50 for UPS delivery, which he assumed represented the actual delivery cost. However, the suit charges, the actual UPS rate to his home was only $16.35, and thanks to its discounted rates, Ticketmaster paid "substantially less" than $16.35. "As such, a portion of the $19.50 UPS delivery charge Schlesinger paid for delivery was secretly pocketed by Ticketmaster," the complaint alleges. 15. http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20101005/pl_yblog_upshot/rural-tennessee-fire-sparks-conservative-ideological-debate What the heck! I can't believe that the town would not charge the guy after even if he didn't pay! Terrible!
  16. My top 3 favorite bands in this order! 1. REM 2. REM 3. I loved Accelerate! I am sure it will be fine That being mentioned I am still really looking forward too all 3 and the tours that hopefully will follow!
  17. I was at the show on Saturday and it was great. Also Jim Carey was on the second balcony rocking out to the concert!
  18. Yeah a heard about it. I wish him well. It boggles my mind I see him perform 1 day before the incident and he looked to be in great spirirts. I got to talk to him after the show and he was a cool guy. I wish him the best and am still quite shocked! He was lucky there was a doctor in the crowd when the incident happened.
  19. Thanks for the link... I am seeing them on Oct 4th in NYC...yippie!
  20. I hear what you are saying...If I know a band doesn't switch it up I will only see them once a tour. With the Charlatans I didn't have much to go on because there tour only started 3 days prior....
  21. Ha yeah.. I saw Bruce probably 4 times since the last album came out and only heard Working on a Dream, The Wrestler and Outlaw Pete! In terms of setlist I love to see Phish and The Cure because they really mix up the sets with old and new and never play the same show twice. The Cure plays about 40 songs on a good night and Phish play up to 200 different songs per tour!
  22. Maybe I am too hard to please but what gives me satisfaction at a concert is hearing new songs live. Getting that chance to even hear one or two songs I haven't heard live before makes a show worth it to me. I may be in the minority here but for me if I saw a band and Wilco is a good example I would find diminshed worth in the show if I heard the same songs again and again. What started my post on this topic is one of my favorite bands is the Charlatans UK. They rarley tour stateside. I think they have been to NYC 3 times between 2000-2010. That being said along with their catelog of 11 albums
