Heck I would go just to support the dying few record stores on this day. I am a sucker for this limted edition vinyl...want to get the Gorillaz, REM and few others! Can't wait!

$100 is insane for an acoustic show though I did pay that once. I saw Springsteen at the Tower Theater (3,000 ish capacity) in Philadelphia back maybe 5 years ago. I had about 20th row! That was an incredible incredible acoustic show but 99.9% of the time I agree with that statement!

Last night I saw LCD Soundsystem...one of my more recent favorites play their "final" shows. Night 1 had many surprises (45:33!!!!!) and was a three hour marathon! Catch them while you still can. I will also be at the "Finale" at MSG Sat! New album is really growing on me *Surprise surprise!! I think between just getting the album on vinyl (great sounding) and listening to the live in studio tracks it clicked with me. My fav since UP! Also am really bummed they are not touring behind this!!!!

Phenominal band...great live show too. Didn't realize this was out digitally!! Guy definatley sounds like Gabriel at points! Seldom Seen Kid was top notch! Woot!

Grey suit with a wacky scarf...he was really friendly...spoke to Steve Drozd too..told him I liked his work on Farrars album and he was taken aback a little -

Yeah it was a great short set this year too... First performance of both Saturn Returns and Everyday is Yours to Win... That is funny with the Trey stuff...as much as I enjoy Phish from time to time their fans are 99% very annoying and do take away from the live expierence.

Pardon me and my geeky fandom! As you know I am as big an REM fan as there is..went to the Tibet House benefit at Carnegie Hall where I saw Wayne Coyne on the street before the show with whom was very gracious and I talked a little about the Flaming Lips with etc..then after the show I finally completed getting an REM album signed..I hear Michael is tough and rarley signs so as he slithered onto the street stealthly wearing a winter hat and barley noticeable I asked and he stopped and we talked for a few seconds...it may not seem significant but here I was talking to my musical idol for the la

Whooops forgot Sigur Ros...at least what songs are in Hoplandic...the ones in Icelandic I am not sure if they are bad lyrics because I don't know what they translate to....lyrics may not be their strong suit but the music and phrasing make up for it! -
