Pete Yorn and saw Ben Kweller last night
-
They’re getting back together in 2020 I’m calling it now! Saw a mysterious billboard going into nyc with the old Black Crowes symbol and nothing else. You’re welcome
-
I feel the same as you mentioned! I remember enjoying the Royal Scam title track but I’m done with them I think too. Still was fun while it last and still enjoy the album when I listen to it. Anyway speaking of which got a half price ticket so seeing Blues Traveler play all of Four
-
Awesome album saw Steely Dan play that album a few years back. I remember the show was decent but I was mad that the backup singers sang most of the Fez

I check setlist on that all the time I didn’t know they had a tracker

Does anyone use https://www.concertarchives.org/ it’s great! I have been plugging in all the shows I have been to and this is great if you’re a stat geek like myself. Tracks all the bands you have seen, venues and setlist. Let me know if you’re on it!

Saw them do one chord a few years back and that was a great show. I try to catch them every time they come through as it is always fun. Probably seen them 6 times now and I look forward to as you said catch some of the rarer songs live.

Nice they doing Navy Blues? I’m seeing them play that in Feb!
-
I can get behind that!

Did anyone buy you a beer in Brooklyn as your formOf payment!? -
Oh just saw Depeche Mode also nominated! They should def be in too!!

I used to like Dave Matthews but became bored with them in 1998 it was the same thing over and over and his live shows to me were a turnoff. I’m not saying they’re not deserving but phish impact on live music blows dmb away. Only thing dmb has on phish was a hit album and a few singles. I have seen about 25 phish shows and I have seen one or two clunker shows over 23 years but they’re very consistent otherwise. Yes for sure Yes also.. agree with almost everything you said but I think Soundgarden will get in too
-
Alright Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails are nominated! Also Biggie, Whitney, Thin Lizzy, T Rex, Motörhead, and Dave Matthews Band..by the way how the f is Dave Matthews nominated and not Phish... I’m mean really?! Anyway in other news I feel old

Sound was great in the venue had two nice shows with variety so was happy. His schmilco comment was a hoot -
yeah I was nervous at first as I bought Byrne before Wilco announce this show then was relieved when I saw his show started at 3
-
David Byrne and Wilco! Not together catching the Byrne Matinee then heading over to Brooklyn Steel

Funny thing I remember when it went on sale I was on the fence the prices were so high. Told my buddy if we get the cheapest ones I’m in! I was 25 at the time and I think I paid $80 which was a lot for me at the time. I didn’t even know too many songs going in but I knew they were legends and it was a rare appearance. Over the years I got more into them and it was really a great experience. I always try and take advantage when a legendary band comes through as you never know when it maybe the last time.

For sure! Lucky enough to see Cream in 2005 at msg was a great experience!
