  1. I was just saying that’s the soonest show I have that hasn’t been cancelled yet I do honestly think things will resume in summer and smaller outdoor shows might resume with a capped reduced capacity. The question if it’s safe to go is the unknown. Im cautiously optimistic assuming the curve is flattening now but it’s all a guess and I can easily be very wrong. Also it’s really crappy how some bands are postponing indefinitely I heard tm was forced to give refunds 30 days after the new date is announced if you can’t go. Edit: just for email my nada surf show postponed until April 2021 so you ma
  2. I’m wondering when shows will resume? The next scheduled show I have that is not cancelled or postponed yet is Nada Surf May 28 doubt it will hold be that as it may can’t wait till I get back to a show! By the way I hear you were a big part of Jeff’s show yesterday!?
  3. That’s true I’m trying to make peace with this however I will keep thinking about this until May 1 but if it’s going to end this is a good reason for it
  4. I wish . I must attend attended in person to count it. Saw so many great virtual ones over the last few weeks! Jeff, Pete Yorn, Ben Lee, Leon Bridges etc
  5. Hey y’all. I know in the scheme of things this is not too important but I have had this ridiculous concert streak going and it looks like I will finally be defeated by the virus. I have since April 1998 seen at least one concert a month. My rules are it must be a legit show no cover bands etc must be a legit recording artist. I made it to a show in sept 2001 and during the months both of my kids were born so crazy I was able to keep it going for so long. I was brainstorming how to keep it going but my options are close to nil. There is a country artist who lives a town over from me and preform
  6. I missed a few minutes last night so thanks for the recap I was getting the run around
  7. Ha ha me too will be 40 in August. I had no shame I always asked for an autograph and picture. Got some pictures from that night but still can’t figure how to post them here always get errors. Send me a message with your email if you want them. One of my favorite Wilco memories however was 3 years before that. Saw Wilco on letterman when they performed Outta Site. Waited for the band after and it was the band my buddy and I. Spoke with Jeff and the band for probably 30 minutes total. They were so nice. My memory of that was Bob Egan saw I was trying to get the cd signed he dragged Jeff and Jay
  8. I was at that show and met the band after too. It wasn't in the round. I also helped Jeff find his car in the lot after their set about midway during Natalie's set. You’re correct Wilco was relatively unknown then. It was sparsely attended when they were on I remember a small handful of people waiting by the bus and it was easy to meet them all as it was just to the side of the stage.
  9. Saw that I hope it’s also wrong live music is my drug and I’m already going through withdrawals! I also can only see this happening with a vaccine or something else drastic however. Also, if concerts are no go so will sports crazy world we live in.
  10. wow that’s great! I got to finally hang out with Stipe 2 years ago at his art gallery opening it was a surreal experience to say the least. Met Mills and Buck many times and they were always nice to me.
  11. All a matter of perspective unfortunately I was 14 when monster came out so I missed most of their high touring density days. Saw them in 95,98,99,03,08 I believe??
  12. Saw R.E.M. 9 times between 1995-2009 and once perform on the daily show. Wish it was more but pretty good all things considered by how infrequently they seemed to tour
  13. I second that wow! Hope you’re feeling better every day!
  14. Same for me was 9 when I found out about them and 14 when I saw them the first time on the Monster tour
  15. Me too but thank goodness for YouTube! Some great bootlegs on there this one is so good! https://youtu.be/kRTH8eqZbPM
  16. It’s really enjoyable and good song variety! Hope he honors R.E.M. on their 40th anniversary today he would do justice to many of their songs.
  17. Today is R.E,M,’s 40th anniversary!
  18. The band doesn’t like sonny feeling he also said he one day might do a Berman song
  19. Even though the lyrics were way off on fake plastic trees the speed and style he played in it really was neat. Made it a whole new song. Really enjoyed it!
