  1. No sweat! As they say you’re doing a mitzvah! Thanks for your great recaps! ☺️
  2. Ahhh didn’t mention my favorite part in the recap
  3. ahh thought about doing that but don’t want to screw the buyer. Can’t stand stubhub, tm and all the rest! Offering a credit on stubhub for a canceled event is really classless!
  4. Sold tickets at face to an event back in February for a show in August 2020 that I could no longer go to that eventually got postponed until August 2021. Stubhub now won’t pay sellers until 5 to 7 days a after the event takes place! They claim in case the show eventually gets cancelled. I understand why there doing it but it’s unfair to hold onto my money for 15 months after I delivered the tickets. Also, they have sellers cc file which they can charge back if it does get cancelled. If you need to sell any tickets I recommend something else!
  5. Thanks trying to take things one day at a time but both items are a big part of our identity. My wife has been there for 12 years and there are so many unknowns. The waiting and uncertainty are very tough!
  6. Bad day. Wife’s company she works filing for bankruptcy due to extra pressure from virus and my 22 year concert streak ends
  7. Didn’t realize how rare it was! Heard it back in 1997 such a great song
  8. Ah. Nice to hear about open mind been asking for that one a few of the other shows. Still holding out for that and Too Far Apart
  9. I think a good compromise is to cancel and if they can schedule for later in the year just put up a new onsale and let people buy again if they want..
  10. I’m guessing they’ll push the shows to winter/fall? Had several shows that didn’t postpone until very close to the show date.
  11. Spencer’s song was the highlight very impressive! Also etmars poetry was ace
  12. I was just saying that’s the soonest show I have that hasn’t been cancelled yet I do honestly think things will resume in summer and smaller outdoor shows might resume with a capped reduced capacity. The question if it’s safe to go is the unknown. Im cautiously optimistic assuming the curve is flattening now but it’s all a guess and I can easily be very wrong. Also it’s really crappy how some bands are postponing indefinitely I heard tm was forced to give refunds 30 days after the new date is announced if you can’t go. Edit: just for email my nada surf show postponed until April 2021 so you ma
  13. I’m wondering when shows will resume? The next scheduled show I have that is not cancelled or postponed yet is Nada Surf May 28 doubt it will hold be that as it may can’t wait till I get back to a show! By the way I hear you were a big part of Jeff’s show yesterday!?
  14. That’s true I’m trying to make peace with this however I will keep thinking about this until May 1 but if it’s going to end this is a good reason for it
  15. I wish . I must attend attended in person to count it. Saw so many great virtual ones over the last few weeks! Jeff, Pete Yorn, Ben Lee, Leon Bridges etc
  16. Hey y’all. I know in the scheme of things this is not too important but I have had this ridiculous concert streak going and it looks like I will finally be defeated by the virus. I have since April 1998 seen at least one concert a month. My rules are it must be a legit show no cover bands etc must be a legit recording artist. I made it to a show in sept 2001 and during the months both of my kids were born so crazy I was able to keep it going for so long. I was brainstorming how to keep it going but my options are close to nil. There is a country artist who lives a town over from me and preform
  17. I missed a few minutes last night so thanks for the recap I was getting the run around
  18. Ha ha me too will be 40 in August. I had no shame I always asked for an autograph and picture. Got some pictures from that night but still can’t figure how to post them here always get errors. Send me a message with your email if you want them. One of my favorite Wilco memories however was 3 years before that. Saw Wilco on letterman when they performed Outta Site. Waited for the band after and it was the band my buddy and I. Spoke with Jeff and the band for probably 30 minutes total. They were so nice. My memory of that was Bob Egan saw I was trying to get the cd signed he dragged Jeff and Jay
  19. I was at that show and met the band after too. It wasn't in the round. I also helped Jeff find his car in the lot after their set about midway during Natalie's set. You’re correct Wilco was relatively unknown then. It was sparsely attended when they were on I remember a small handful of people waiting by the bus and it was easy to meet them all as it was just to the side of the stage.
