while the Cure may not be the first to do it they hit the scene early and helped pioneer new wave emotion goth in the Uk in the late 70’s they had many albums which picked up steam in America. Many artist list the Cure as influences from Nine inch Nails to Depeche Mode etc. Radiohead have constantly pushed the envelope. From samples to their pedal work to their three guitarist to their music videos. Radiohead in my opinion is the most influential band of the last 25 years.. all personal opinions obviously but I’d think hundreds of newer bands would list them as their primary influence.

Not denying that just excited for the Cure and Radiohead actually have seen Janet and Def Leppard in concert too Devo is great however you can’t deny the impact both the cure and Radiohead made on music

Had a rollercoaster work year and maybe I’m looking for a change, or to get inspired or to open a business. Anyway I digress.. what do you do for a living? I work for an engineering firm representing AT&T for property aquisition for the cellular side. I’m a contractor and dislike the uncertain nature of the cellular world.. before that I did management of the real estate portfolio for our electric company.

Ahh the wetlands miss that place! Saw many great shows there

I have since 1997 wrote down every show I saw and every opener I caught it has been valuable to me over the years. I like to look at old setlist from these shows to see what songs I heard live.

I asked amazon about the download as almost all vinyl I buy has the auto rip function but they said it was at the artist request to not include download. I don’t like having to buy the same album twice it’s very frustrating.
