I looked at my stubs the other day scary is the ticketmaster surcharges too and how they have multiplied! I think I spend on average $2,000 a year (I average 40-80 shows a year) on concerts..yes it is a lot of money however I don't have many other vises! Might as well enjoy it!

Ha ha..me too. I got several binders of stubs and setlist..and an excel sheet with every band I have seen and how many times and also a lsst of how many shows I have seen, where, when and openers listed...I am a nerd in this aspect.

Which are the live bands you keep on coming back to? Let say any that you have seen over 10 times? Who and how many? I fell out of favor with the flaming lips over the last few albums however they are playing my favorite album of theirs clouds taste metallic in full Tuesday at the first ave! Anyone going?! Wish I could myself!! Ps on a side note I see they did transmissions also last year in Minneapolis! Two great albums lucky msp area!

Egan played a mean pedal steel he was a real nice dude too! I met him after a show and he said anyone else in the band you haven't met? I said jay and john and he grabbed them for me

2/15/97 Irving Plaza, NYC the famous deli tray show! Was filmed for HBO's show reverb! Still all these years later my favorite live show I have attended! Jeff crowd surfed, they played a hard version of box full of letters, long cut , someone else's song and we've been had! I loved every second of it! Seek out this show if you never heard it!

Ed sounded great some of the songs translated well solo others were odd White, Discussion they added lap steel which I don't know about still was a great show and the encore he played Beauty of Grey which was a great surprise! The tour still has about 40 shows left maybe he's not been to your town yet! Worth it if you can go!
