  1. I'm looking to buy a nice guitar amp. I want to be able to plug it directly into my computer (for recording purposes), using a 1/4" out (if I'm retarded for doing this, lemme know, btw). My dad has a Roland keyboard amp that works great for this sort of thing.
  2. Wow, I'm the Man Who Loves You is a bit more complicated than a simple chord progression. Anyone have a more complete tab (at least for the intro, which I know starts with a slide from the first fret to the 13 fret on the low E).
  3. Now, I don't expect anyone to tab out the full solo to this song, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to get started?
  4. Wow, that's really close. I can finally play it. Great job. I like to add a few open hits on the A string here and there too.
  5. http://www.gumbopages.com/music/wilco/song...een.in.love.txt :::::::::::::::::::::: Should've Been In Love :::::::::::::::::::::: by J. Tweedy As played by Wilco from the album "A.M." (1995) Transcribed by Dave Shapiro (dshapir@argo.ecte.uswc.uswest.com) This piece features an acoustic guitar tuned EADGBD, which is the same tuning as "Anodyne". It also has an electric guitar (standard tuning) and a dobro tuned open G (DGDGBD). The acoustic guitar's chords are these: -0-----0-----0--------0-----------0--------------0-----------0--- -0-----3-----0--------0-----------0--------------0----
  6. Wow, sounds good. I often wonder how it is that people figure out these weird looking chords. This one is the one that sounds best to me: Also, interesting thing I just tried that sounds pretty cool. I put the capo on the 5th fret, but left the bottom two strings (the E and A) un-capoed. I think it gives this chord a fuller sound, and I just muffle the low E when I play the E chord.
  7. Is this chord relative to the capo on 5? Christ, I don't think my guitar goes up to 17 frets...
  8. I'll have to listen to it again, but I think he says "Now faith and trust's the strongest part of love." Then again, I'm usually wrong. edit: Ya, I'm wrong But this: I hold you tight You (talk to me tonight?) is I hold you tight You tuck me in at night For sure.
  9. You just gotta get the strumming pattern down right. And you can toss in a hammer on between the A-em/g switch, if you're cool.
  10. You put a "code" tag before and after the text you want formatted. Like this [ code ] Text in here [ /code ] (except without the spaces)
  11. I think it works better when you use the "code" tag. Like this: G C D Turkey Hen Rooster G Look everyone it's punky brewster

    I Got You

Did a search on this, but the search engine choked and died on it. Does anyone have anything to add to the gumbopages tab?
  14. It sounded a lot better once I got the strumming pattern down just right. And, ya, that bass riff was confusing as hell too.
  15. What's the "right" way?
  16. The one on Gumbopages seems a bit simple/off...
  17. It seems like when he repeats these patterns, they don't get repeated exactly. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
  18. For some reason, I had this song confused with the one to "Kicking Television." Any tips on how to play that (specifically, like the one on the live album)?
  19. Isn't anyone going to mention the solid-gold capo? Tweedy's big ballin'!
  20. You could also try strumming the intro from "War on War." It's A.
  21. I would suggest "California Stars" if you're looking for an easy song to play.
  22. So, this is in drop D, right?
  23. If this comes up again on eBay, I'll gladly buy it and scan a few pages here and there.
