Well, that Captivity movie seems to have an identity crisis--is it a serious commentary about society or is it just a torture/gore flick? It's marketed as the latter, but I've read something about the former--I think that might have been wishful thinking. I'm not planning to see it.

I went to a 7/11 that had most of its power out. They had a handwritten note in the window that said "Yes, we're open." The Indian guy at the desk said something about someone next door didn't like them and kept turning the power off. He also said "I don't mean to offend anybody, but when it comes to money I'm the Jew." My Squishy was less squishy and more liquified.
