This is too good not to share. Vish Khanna has put together a (very) detailed timeline on Eric's Trip. You may be saying Eric's Who, as I was a couple years ago, but holy shit this band has influenced almost everybody in the last 15 years. For instance - almost everything good out of TO has Rick White's hands on it. Just came back from the $100 instore. OMFG this band is mesmerizing. Simone and Ian went into little stories of each song, one about Lesbians having to escape rural Alberta (Hell's a Place) and another about a Grandfather and ex-soldier of the Reich building a cottage between the 'lake and the rails' to get away from the memories of war (Mardibrar). The band had requested that the instore be relatively early at 4pm, allowing some school kids to see them and still make it home before nightfall.
