One of the cutest things is that the band changes names depending on whose record and tour are current. If Luke's got an album out, they are 'Luke Doucet and the White Falcon', with Melissa's their name disappears and they become 'Melissa's backing band' also love, how he's got that huge honking Gretsch and he's maybe 5' 5". Getting too many emails from bands wanting to do instores, with most just being terrible. But occasionally something comes along that looks and sounds pretty good. The Angry Dragons from Winnipeg - three girls playing garage/girl group rock with a male drummer. Nothing revolutionary, but it looks like a lot of fun. They're at the store Friday and then off to the local rock club later that night. The Warrior/Eclispe stuff is the best Moore and by default, pretty well the best Comic ever done. By the end of the 2nd or 3rd chapter and the appearance of Kid Marvel/Miracleman you're hooked, and then it just takes off. John Tottleben did the art towards the end of the Moore run and again, it is also his best work. Kimota!

I'll have to go get that. I bought Little Heart's Ease in 2004 at the suggestion of my friend Andy. I tried, absolutely hated it and sold it off. Didn't tell Andy though, thinking we'd never talk about the band again. (He produced At Rush Hour The Cars and I think did some mixing on Little Hearts, so I didn't want to, y'know, hurt his feelings) Alone at the Microphone though, is brilliant.
