3rd string at OSU is 1st string at most schools. Plus do you think OSU actually plays by the same recruiting rules that most schools do? It's just something that mid level school fans have grown to live with. You can't be top 10 year after year and expect that your team actually plays by the same rules.

Were you at the Wilco/Iroquois last year? There was something so cool about that place. I think it was a full moon that night and it was rising right next to the stage behind a group of trees. Perfect fall night. One plus on slugger field though...my friend is going to take his 3 yr old to his first concert and since he refers to everyone he sees that is walking as "Walking Like Wilco", I'd have to say that's a pretty cool first show?

I'm not real thrilled about Wilco playing Slugger field. I was hoping for the Iroquois Theater again. That place was unreal. I guess the VW commercials are paying dividends since they are booking a 13,000 seat stadium.

IF this has been mentioned I apologize. I heard "What Light" on AMC last night. It was an advertisement for the movies that get played on the channel. Wilco has to feed a lot of mouths. I went to an NBA game about 2 years ago. Hawks vs Pacers and it was one of the worst things I have ever witnessed. No effort, horrible shooting and just flat out terrible basketball. A b I think the NBA offers a terrible product and he is the person offering. However I do enjoy watching the Bulls and the Suns play. I just have a hard time watching players like Sodomite Bryant and such. Plus I'm still irritated at Stern's biggest gaffe.....his handling of the Palace brawl. He should've forced the Pistons to play a few home games with no fans.

I rank David Stern slightly above Bud Selig in the management departement. Stern has basically destroyed the NBA.
