IMHO it's anything but a letdown... I suppose I wasn't sure what to expect, so hearing it was a relief as it's so good. Sure, it might not have the charm of their debut, but it's still a great record. They've developed their sound and their songs, it's a more mature Arcade Fire... Certainly looking forward to hearing a proper version of it, but the leak has wetted my appetite, that's for sure.

EDIT: I'm a few songs in and it's exceeded all my expectations so far... I think I was worried that it'd be shite, but it's great!

That is good - once I got my head around the kids talking and acting like some film noir characters I enjoyed it a lot more! I thought that was ok, I've seen a lot more gratuitous use of sex in that series though! It was ok, just hoping they settle down the stories in the next season... not long till Doctor Who too!

Heard lots of good things about this, keeping my eye on the Arts cinema in town and hoping they'll get it... but if what you're saying about Lynch having no distributor is true, it might not even come over to the UK
