Interesting piece on Cold War Kids in the paper today... didn't realise there'd been so much of a back lash over here about this. They were stunning on Jools Holland last Fri night though.

Had the official promo of the single through yesterday - I was really excited though as I thought it was the album, the package was covered in "Icky Thump" stickers... but, alas, just the single. Having a good listen, it is completely bonkers in places and the lack of a chorus is great. At least they're trying to do something genuinly different!

No worries - the Wilco review was full of fan boy excitment so read a bit like that. I've edited myself now - must calm down Band of Horses = awesome. Well worth checking out, got a lot of love on VC last year when it came out.

I really, really, really liked Chaos, certainly one of his best albums in a long, long, long time. New song sounds nice, video is cool, though I'm not holding out for this to better Chaos.

It's great... not as out and out balls to the wall rock as Pink, much more intricate and dynamic. Trying to write a review for it now...
