Yeah, Kenny was playing with Kevin Drew when I saw him in London recently. He was also at ATP, but standing watching the BSS set near the back with me. I wanted a chat, but he looked a bit preoccupied with the music to bother him!

This weeks episode was great. Nice twists and turns, plenty of suspense and nice to see the Doctor dumbfounded by the person who knows more about him than he does! As for spoilers, the only one I've read that I was excited about is the prospect of Neil Gaiman writing some episodes in the future.

The new album is really good. Very laid back. A bit all over the place on some tracks, but there's something really nice about that.

Great band and completely gutted I never got a chance to see them live (yet)... Certainly most of their albums, like you Kyle, I can throw on at any time, just when I want something good to listen to.

This really is great...

Yeah, hopefully this means a move to something a bit darker in tone to Davies' episodes. I also read an interesting rumour that for the specials next year they're on about bringing McCann in for one of them... I really enjoyed the Agatha Christie episode, even if the end was a bit rubbish!

Yeah, it's not bad. Initially it's hooked me more than "Boys & Girls" but then I'm not a massive fan. Some great lyrics though that stuck with me from the first play!

Yeah, agree with the break down there, except for the single which, for some reason, has just stuck in my head! Definitely a 7.5 on the P4K scale for me... I'd certainly like them to get a bit darker next time around.

Had my first listen and I like it. May be a touch "Boys and Girls" Part II... but some of the lyrics are already stuck in my head!

Promo - was quite surprised to find it waiting for me today - it's UK release date isn't till July. Though it is Watermarked...

The Hold Steady - Stay Positive

It's definitely better than Plans, but, as with the majority, it doesn't touch Transatlanticsm... and I doubt they'll ever top that. Apart from the P4K review, all the others i've read have been positive. If it wasn't for the middle-ish 3 songs, I think I'd love it a lot more. NP:
