Yeah, I got it off eMusic with this months allocation. I wasn't sure I would like it, but there's something about it that works its way into my head. Some of the lyrics are quality as well.

Langhorne Slim : Langhorne Slim

On my first listen of this now. I think the title track is a bit week, hard to tell whether the vocals are meant to sound so rough or if it's just the rip. Also, Highly Suspicious is a bit too Prince for my liking and the intentions / lyrics of Librarian are a bit heavy handed. Other than that, I like it so far...

Ditto - on my first listen now. Not sure I like Highly Suspicious or the title track, but the rest of it is really good.

I heard "Pork and Beans" on the radio last night - thought it was good fun, but definitely Weezer by numbers.

I'm with the Doors and Beach Boys haters - both are incredibly over-rated. Animal Collective aren't the great white hope they're made out to be - appalling live.
