Cool - just found it

Has that officially leaked or just a promo? Liked the other "leaked" tracks that have been circulating...

It is really good - more uptempo than Alligator, which I liked. Great rhythms to it all as well... a lot better than the Bright Eyes album.

^ Hmmm... found it a bit boring other than Four Winds and Hot Knives. Putting The National: Boxer on now... hope this is better...

I wasn't a fan of Ted Leo and the new album hasn't done anything to improve my opinion... it's ok, but it sounds so much like other people I can't quite get my head around it. It's not that it's bad, there's just nothing on it that moves me or interests me. Sorry!

I've not heard the new one, but I do like GLP... Mobilize is certainly my favourite of his solo stuff, that's for sure.

First listen...

It's not bad actually - some of it is a bit poor, but there's a couple of really good tracks on it. The one absolute howler, in my mind, is "Nobody's Baby Anymore" Scott's voice sounds woeful. Anyway, first play for me this morning: The Maccabees > Colour It In

Looking forward to seeing EITS at ATP... they've asked American Analog Set to play too... fingers crossed! Nuts line up then, Wilco, Band of Horses, Shellac, EITS, AAS, Do Make Say Think, Thermals, Grizzly Bear... the list goes on!

I'm actually liking this, it's Tracey Thorn's solo record, from Everything But The Girl, it seems to suit the rather lovely weather we're getting at the moment!
